I think the new scheme, new-look limber Towns, Beverly as tone setter, and Edwards and Okogie on the wings will have us as a top 15 NBA defense.

That might be the boldest one yet and I'm ready for it! 8-)

You don't think NBA champs is bolder? :o

I toyed with a similar prediction.

I'm sorry. I'm not up to running the league anymore. Do you want to take it over and schedule a draft?

Beasley turns out to be our clear-cut 2nd option behind KAT, and our clear-cut 2nd highest PPG guy, because he's so super-efficient that Finch has to allocate more shots to him and he justifies it by keeping the efficiency with an increased volume.

I'm higher on Beasley than most on this board, and I know he's had a **** pre-season, but it's just pre-season and he'll find his groove soon. He's actually been 2nd in PPG for us last season and more efficient than DLo (higher TS%), so I actually feel like this board is appallingly ignorant about how good Beasley's proven he can be and how much of an X factor he could be for us this season.

All in all, it's a cooler crazy prediction than these typical Championship/MVP crazy predictions in the thread :p

Ya he can go 3 ways…
1. Legit starting SG or 6th-man
2. Continue roller-coaster performance
3. Revert back to curbside weapons service

Anthony Edwards is our third leading scorer, and no one is upset about that because of the way he improves his offensive efficiency and defensive tenacity to become an all-around star.

Only crazy part is third leading scorer. He will be second and by the slimmest of margins to KAT. Rest of it expected.

1. Schedule analysis. Look at their first 5 games, they have a decent shot to get out to a good enough start. Morey is stuck in his ways and will want to wait as long as possible. They have a stretch of 7 of 9 games at home followed by a 6-game road swing that ends Nov. 24.
2. See their Nov. 27 opponent.

What has he actually done? Not to knock the guy, but this Rosas team and Rosas coach. Gupta has no trades, no picks, and no two way players. Unless you are saying he flips the roster like Rosas did two years ago?

First of all, you don't need to flip the entire team in order to win the award.

Let's say we have a significant turnaround, to where we are a playoff team. Coming from a 23-win team last year to say 45 or so, the league may fee the need to recognize someone for the turnaround.

It's not going to be Gersson Rosas.

That’s fair, but wouldn’t it be Finch? I mean not to knock Gupta, but he was an assistant not a decision maker. Rosas was the guy who built this. If Rosas cannot be in the spotlight I just don’t see Gupta makes any kind of reasonable claim for credit. Again, this is not a knock on you, I see your point, I just cannot connect the dots from A to B.
