From watching playoffs so far, one thing I can say is that Wolves offense is so much more well-rounded than most of the other teams.

Kinda funny how Benz said about 1 of 4 teams will win on the road in game 1 of the first series, and the Wolves and Jazz are the only 2 of 8 road teams to win. The stats were spot in for this one.

If I was one of these downtrodden teams and desperate, I'd seriously think about hiring Rosas. I know he was a massive fail image wise but man, he was good at evaluating talent, might be able to get him at a discount with conditions to help ensure he does better with the people he works with.

It’s a **** joke how many freethrows Embiid gets to shoot, refs are up his ass.

Man, Jazz fans are pissed at Mitchel like some wolves fans were at KAT. they are killing him right now.

if they are pissed at anyone, it should be Conley who ended the night with 0 points. Mitchell might be flawed but he is still their best offensive player in playoffs. Gobert was also very poor offensively

Bad time to be a Nuggets fan. Those guys are in agony so far.

We shouldn’t be talking

Took a god like performance from kleber who was struggling mightily the last few months. Like 10%. I know Utah has the home court…but they’ve played doncic less Mavs twice and almost lost each time.

I’m sure Dallas sits Luka to try and steal home court game 3. Maybe target game 4 if they lose. The safe thing to do would probably bring him back game 5 in Dallas and try to rip off 3 straight should they drop the next couple in utah.

Yeesh…we’re gonna see GS if we get by Memphis. That’ll be fun. Don’t think we have any shot…but we could make it interesting since we split 2-2.

But that’s a long ways away

1. Denver could get it together. I grant you it seems unlikely, but stranger things could happen.

2. GSW with all the pieces in place is not the GSW we split with. That said, we got better as the season progressed and in theory we could be fully healthy for them.

3. The actual games would be at least two weeks away and we need to stay healthy while playing at least 3 more games.

4. Overall, if the refs call it clean we win handily. If the refs call it the way we know they will, it will be very difficult to win the series. We match up well, but the refs giving Ja 20 free throws and the Griz 43 compared to our 27 (with about 6-8 coming during the foul game,) speaks volumes about the true opponent we will be facing.

Keeping it real, Minnesota can beat Denver, but Golden State is probably going to roll them. The Warriors are STACKED.

For context, Stephen Curry is literally coming off of the bench as their sixth man, right now. Just frightening.

The rest may be true, but Curry coming off the bench doesn't really mean anything, he's still their best player.

i was praying that the warriors would be the 4th or 5th seed. but the likely road to the finals is unfortunately memphis, gsw, and pheonix.

To win the title we're going to have to beat the best so I see no problem here.

The longer you can avoid the best teams in the Playoffs, the better chance you have of winning a Championship. You never know how injuries can undercut teams (look at the year that Miami snuck into the Finals). Having to go against Golden State instead of Utah/Dallas is a huge deal. Ultimately you have to take it one series at a time, but if Minnesota upsets Memphis, it would be preferable to avoid the insanely good Golden State Warriors.

Warriors are good no question. However, they are old and fragile. I can see injuries limiting them again. I'm cheering for Denver to win a couple and wear them down a bit for us.
Hopefully we can sweep the Grizz and be well rested and healthy for round 2.

I am shocked at how well the Pelicans are playing the Suns right now. Thought the Suns were smoking any 9-7 team easily.

Wow at Pelicans but their win somehow makes me even more depressed about the wolves game tonight.
