KAT is one helluva player. Make no mistake about it. Feed the beast!

He's not arguing calls to a large degree. Huge progress. Gotta love it.

Huge run by the magic, we have to clamp this immediately.

3 things I'd love to see.

No more arguing calls. So far he has been MUCH better in the last 5 or so games. Way better.

Fewer fouls

Better defense

He does all three and I will be very happy with Karl. Cutting out the whining has already made it so much easier to watch though.

Rudy Gobert's favorite point guard of his career will be Karl-Anthony Towns. The only guy who was always looking to dump it to him.

I don’t understand why Towns is the only guy who understands how to pass to Rudy Gobert. It is very strange.

We're seeing glimpses of how good we can be! Rudy and Kat plus ANT! How good is that?

Let everybody else be the supporting players to those 3. The rest have to be able to get it on their own for the most part.

Arrrrooooooooo!!!!

Didn't let the Magic crawl back in. They made a big push but we slammed the door in their face. Progress. We badly needed these last two wins.

I really think we will look like a different team when we get good guard play form the 1 and 2 on both ends. They need to defend but also get the ball moving and play with pace. We get that and it will be night and day. This is a guards game and Rudy and KAT need competent guard play to operate.

You know what stopped the bleeding for Minnesota? When KAT started feeding Gobert. Maybe that's why Finch really wanted those two to build chemistry together. The League doesn't know how to guard a 4-5 PnR set yet. Might not even have the personnel to stop it.

Even KAT sometimes throws bounce passes. Maybe one day Rudy will sit them down and teach them about lobs. Tall guys like nice high lobs so they can grab and slam. Not low bounce passes that they need to bend in traffic, secure, bring up through defenders, get over their head and then jump to slam. Rudy is a beast and when he hits his free throws he is in Uber beast mode.

When we contain the ball handlers and don’t let them break down our formations, our defense is solid. When our guards don’t contain the ball, we get unbalanced and give up a ton of open looks. Also, boxing out 1-5 is huge in preventing second chances points. Often those second chance points come when we are disorganized after going for the boards. Again, we need to maintain our defensive formations and make opponents take tough shots.

KAT clearly needs to be the hub of the offense, his playmaking has really elevated this year. The more the team minimizes DLo’s role and play through Towns the better they’ll be.

You play the schedule you are given. Every team benefits from missing players. No one apologized when Gobert was out with Covid. You know this as well as anyone.
