Jim Pete just explained the issue with Rudy in there. While he gets his numbers it’s detrimental to the rest of the team. He clogs the lane whereas a Reid can either roll or space out.

This allows our guards to attack successfully like we want them too. Play styles just don’t match up

I have always been a big fan of what Rudy does, long before he joined the Wolves. And he’s playing well tonight ..

.. but was anyone else excited when Naz just subbed in for him?

This is a winnable game man...but not shooting well. Both DLo and Nowell's 3 pt shot is off. Atleast DLo is hitting midrange..Nowell isn't doing anything out there

Total joke.

I hate ticky fouls that don't affect the game. I hate worse, contact that fouls that aren't called the same way for both teams.

Fans don't attend a game to see the officials dominate it. Are the officials paid by the call?

Let them play.

I also hate the imperceptible travel call when they far to often allow 3 steps to the basket.

This feels like one of those games for DLo where his 3 pt shot is just off

Starting to feel like it’s danger territory. Dallas is catching fire and Mimesis feels stagnant.

To be any kind of a team you have to win this game at home. No excuses.

We should leave them more open for 3s.
They just don’t have enough space to miss.

We have some really streaky shooters on the team...DLo can go from not missing a 3 pointer to unable to make a 3 pointer

Minnesota just couldn’t make wide open shots, this game. Really unfortunate, but they choked.

Rudy’s back and the joy is gone.

It’s almost like slow footed, unswitchable guys are just as useless as slow footed piss poor defenders.

This spread them and roll them NBA just isn’t made for big guys who can’t guard the perimeter at an average level at minimum.

I really don't think you can blame Gobert for this loss and I am not even a huge fan of him. We lost mainly because our streaky shooters went cold today...missed lot of good open looks. Nowell was 2/12 from field, DLo was 0/7 from 3. If any of those shot just averagely, we could have won this. The spell during start of 2nd Qtr was disastrous..probably cost the game.

That's right.

Another 26% game from 3. Almost always a loser.

When Prince is back, I think it will be Nowell and not Rivers missing minutes. He has been so good as of late on both ends of the floor.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
