Horrible foul by Anthony Edwards. Just a killer.

Re: Wolves vs Pistons
We have 38 2nd half points with a minute to go. How bad is that?
Ant was so good!!!!!
We go cold down the stretch. Simple as that. As bad a loss as we've had.

That's the type of loss which gets coaches fired
Jesus. Rebounding and the small things are absolutely missing from the team

We brought in one of the best ones in the league. He was playing great in the summer too, and then magically he becomes a bad player? It's a stretch to think he's washed. This is on coaching nothing else. He's being used wrong.

Dark dark times. This is also why I am never a fan of blaming one player. A lot of people wanted to pile this teams woes on Towns but there are bigger problems, its a team issue. We got massive problems and lots of things need to be addressed all over. Everyone in the organization needs to look in the mirror and try to dig up a solution.
We finally thought we found an awesome coach in Chris Finch, and he still may be an awesome coach but his job is in jeopardy with how dastardly bad things are going.
Thought we got a great front-office hire in Conelley but his huge trade is a nightmare in the first half of his first season.
We have committed heavily to Finch, Conellely, and this new direction. There is a massive amount invested in this thing and somehow they have to get it together. They cant even look fans in the face right now with the current state of things.

Now, it makes sense to attack when your defender is behind you, so maybe that’s nothing. But it also made me think that DLo needs motivation. If a guy steals from a deliberate player like DLo it makes him look bad. DLo also seems more motivated when Towns is out, like he needs the motivation to play hard.
Now, I may be off an island here, but I tend to think that Russell sees himself as a professional, who shouldn’t get too high or too low. Perhaps he thinks he and his teammates are so talented, that he just needs to be “okay,” and his job is to get everyone else the ball. He talks about being uncomfortable finding that balance between scoring and being a distributor. I wonder if this confusion robs him of his motivation to just go hard? And he needs special circumstances like potentially being embarrassed or the Wolves having injured players to find more motivation?
Don't waste your time and energy on Russell, he's a lost cause.
Guy gives up more easy baskets and offensive rebounds than any player I have ever seen in 33 years watching this team.
He looks like he's playing on tape delay and everyone else is live, that's how slow his reactions are.
Not moving on from Russell this summer is going to be nearly as costly to this franchise as the Gobert trade.
He can't be gone soon enough in my opinion.
We would be above 500 if it had been Russell who got injured and not J-Mac.
This is the dumbest team I've ever seen and the most disappointed I've ever been as a fan, it's as bad as some of those years we won 16 games in the entire season. Going to be so much fun giving all those top ten picks to the Jazz in the coming years.
I've never seen a franchise self destruct quite this quickly.
Connelly could have traded KAT and Ant for 2nd round draft picks last summer and it's hard to argue he would have done more long term damage than this.
Finch, I will be really surprised if he makes it to the all-star break.
The inmates are running the asylum, wheels are flying off the bus. We just lost to a team who has the worst record in the league and was missing their best player, and had their 2nd best player leave the game due to injury. We had one guy to guard who was even remotely a threat to score.

Chris Finch may turn out to be an awesome coach, but we don't have the high IQ players to run his system. He needs to call plays. The flow system isn't going to work for this team.

Re: Wolves vs Pistons
We've all gotten on KAT for not playing smart at times, but tonight we saw what it looks like we you don't play smart and don't have the talent to back it up. We're going to need his talent if we have any hope at all of salvaging this season.

Re: Wolves vs Pistons
Man... this is worse than I could have imagined. The only silver lining is that we have had big injuries. This is lower than the bad Jimmy season though, I really don't know how they recover from this. Maybe the last shred of hope is the team getting some kind of stabilizing play and then Towns just tearing it up upon his return. Who knows. Everyone is jumping off a cliff though. We are toast fandom wise,

Re: Wolves vs Pistons
This game seals it for me. I have randomly checked the score until halftime while being on my way home from a party. Waking up, checking the score and realised they have managed to lose against the Pistons is just a massive, massive disappointment.
You can tell me whatever you want but Gobert, Ant and Russell together with McDaniels and Anderson should have been enough to beat them. So I don't let the excuse of injuries count.
Our hands are tied, the only option is to see and wait... maybe you can slightly upgrade the roster at the deadline but that's it. Gobert is not going anywhere and selling high on Towns or Ant does not solve anything.
I will not waste nights for this any longer as it is a pure **** at this point.
Despite all of this, happy new year to all of you!
