Bill Simmons always struck me as an annoying know-it-all (I can identify), but he makes over-the-top hasty generalizations, and then doesn’t have the cojones to admit when he was wrong.

Lately many national talking heads that have been trashing MIN for years are changing their tune. There is no room for you on my bandwagon, especially without some apologies.

He should had added "they are playing great despite having three centers that don't fit" lol

Let's keep the streak going so I can hear what the TNT talking heads had to say when we are 8 and 2.

I mean we look good right now, in the past we looked like garbage, so can;t blame anyone for stating the obvious. When we looked like crap they said it. When we look good, they are saying it. It's like, you look like a hairy really out of shape slobby guy and you smell bad, have a horrible hair cut, and have clothes that are waaay too tight. Women think you look disgusting and say you are unattractive. Then you spend two years getting into amazing shape, you get ripped, get a stylist, get a new haircut, get form fitting clothes, and great hygiene. Women say you are attractive.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

It was still a bad trade to me. The reasons for the winning can be argued. Who's to say that we couldn't have traded for Lori or another Big who'd match better with Kat. Now the trade forces the team to sell either Rudy or Kat. What happens after this season? We're still screwed because it looks like Ant will be getting his bonus.

Look, before some of you get triggered.. I'll say that I don't think that Rudy is a bad player. He's been playing great this season. ITs just that the trade was not well thought out and it painted the team into a corner.

First glance at simmons and it’s easy to see a big head and a small fruitless brain

For me, you can’t make a trade for a star on a four year deal, and declare “it’s the worst trade of all time” right away.

Ditto for all the pundits that ripped MIN for picking Ant over LaMelo in the first year. It takes time to have perspective on longterm impact decisions.

Spurs have been atrocious defensively so far but pretty efficient offensively, although mediocre from 3 point range.
As usual for a Pop team, they are pretty good in mid range scoring.

This will be my first live look at Wemby, and hopefully we can keep the train rolling and lock down on defense again.
Gobert/Wemby going to be a great matchup and you know both guys will be up for it.
Should be a very exciting game, Wolves need to keep piling up those W's.

Crazy. I posted this, got in the car and put in Dane’s podcast, which was “Three things I was Wrong About!”

Way to go , Dane!

he hasn't changed his mind

when he did the over/under wins predictions for the season he took the Wolves over, and at the same time ripped the trade again

its not that much different that when people hated that the Kings traded away Haliburton, yet were excited and praised them for the Kings great regular season last year

I'm really curious if they put wemby on kat. Usually putting a big on kat is game over and kat can just drive by but wemby is different

This is quite interesting. Wolves talk starts at 17:30. The first part is praise for our start, the next is ownership, contracts and the luxury tax.

thanks, that's been the best quick summary of the Wolves ownership, tax, future, etc

Lore buying the team incrementally is pretty strong indicator they won't be paying the freight for the salary that is on the books now (without MC and KA next year)

so a KAT trade, if it happens this season, would likely be for a big expiring contract among other things

Mike Conley is getting absolutely cooked, out there. Gotta take him out, unfortunately; the size differential is killing Minnesota.

Honestly should have changed up the starting lineup with Kyle Anderson.

This is going to be a tough one. Spurs are big and physical. Out hustling us to start.

You guys complain about Towns and his fouls. Look at McD who is a foul waiting to happen. Stupid ones too. Time to start getting on his azz too.

Its literally the main talking point about what he needs to improve. I don't think anyone is sweeping it under the rug.

Could KAT finish the year with more offensive fouls than defensive ones?
