After this deep run, and watching finals...
...we are hungry wolves.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Really disappointed in Dallas, I thought they would give Boston a harder time.

Boston having 2-way players at every position at all times is just too much for Dallas.
Also they don't have any slowfooted bigs for Luka and Kyrie to exploit.

Our scheme on both ends against Dallas was just completely awful.
I think we wouldve given Boston a better fight but probably only take a game or 2.

Denver vs Boston would have been one helluva series, Boston has no answer for Jokic.
2023 Denver vs 2024 Boston, that's one for the ages.

Honestly, I don't see how Denver could beat this version of the Celtics. I think going forward, OKC is going to be the team to beat out of the West. They have Holmgren and Jalen Williams on rookie deals and a war chest of draft picks to add up to two more cornerstone players next to Shai. If OKC is willing to spend the money, they can have five two-way starters and they will be in the running for every young free agent that they want. Boston seems willing to spend the money to have five max or near max players, it will be interesting to see if OKC follows suit. Wolves window is shorter than I'd like given the Gobert trade and Conley and Gobert's age. Wolves have another year, maybe two, before they'll have to figure out how to replace Conley and Gobert and stay competitive.

I think Denver still would have given them a run for their money. Boston isn't unbeatable. They are damn good and they match up very well with Dallas, they can exploit all of Dallas' holes. I am very disappointed in hindsight that we couldn't find one thing to exploit from Dallas. We should have been able to do something. If not beat them, at least be competitive.

Their lob game and their bigs have totally disappeared in this series. They looked like hall of fame players against us.

Got to think the Mavericks show something tonight. I'll be interested to see if they can get any of their lob game going or get their bigs involved at all. There is an interesting stat out there about how Boston has forced their bigs to further outside the basket opposed to Minnesota where they were able to just camp out. You would think the Mavericks would be able to manufacture some kind of counter to get a win or two, I think we see something tonight.

Dallas finally shows some real life. They even got a lob.

Yes. Not surprising as they are facing elimination like we were in game 4 and its probably the toughest out for the team ahead in the series. Dallas doesn't want to be swept and Boston is a bit too comfortable with a three game lead.

Man, Luka is such a great passer. This is the one skill that Ant really needs to improve to be an MVP player. If he could master the whip pass and the lob pass like Luka, he could really be special and help get us over the hump.

Boston got destroyed tonight. Damn. If they somehow lose the next game people will be talking about them choking again, I guarantee the talk will get extremely bad for them.

If Dallas wins tonight. A ton of massive pressure goes onto Boston. People will tak about them choking again, biggest fumble in NBA history, etc. It will be a big media storm. This is approaching must win territory. The talk will start even if they are down at halftime.
