Julius is fine, Naz is just a bad passer and has poor touch.

Naz is a player who can only do 2-3 things on the basketball court, and everything he does is predicated on his shooting. He can attack a lazy or hard closeout and drive, he can catch and shoot, and he can dribble-drive.

Very limited but effective within his limitations.

Julius needs to figure out you don't give Rudy the ball when he can't dunk and there is someone between him and the basket. That's a recipe for an empty possession.

This isn’t a good matchup on defense for Rudy.

The Reid-DDV mini-pindown where the two of them screen for each other and either can curl around the other for a catch-and-shoot 3 is incredible innovation by Finch.

Lively sees Jaden and is like "hold my beer".

I liked the reaction from Luka, sometimes you just got to laugh and it probably helps a young guy not overreact.

I"m starting to get more worried about Mike. He just isn't getting on track at all.

Gobert sucks so far. The offense as a whole is just not working.

Could we had played any worse in the 2nd quarter?

Sure it is. There are a lot of things to like, but it isn't smooth sailing. Is part of that on Gobert? Sure. But what about Conley being worse than Gobert?

Conley was the calming presence we needed to counter-act Towns. Now with Towns gone, DDV seems to fit the mold of complimenting ANT+Randle better than Conley, especially defensively.

DDV's movement is more important working off Randle/ANT than Conley's ability to get into the P&R. DDV's both a better movement shooter and cutter than Conley.

I think there have been 4-5 turnovers trying to get the ball to Gobert in the paint plus one really ugly post move from Rudy that wasn't even close. This is probably one of the nights Rudy's role on offense needs to be minimized.

We not playing well enough. Tough match up for Rudy, Mike still at 50%, Defense not focus enough. Ant keep us in the game. Go Wolves!

Julius Randle's ability to drive and kick is such a blessing for Minnesota's offense.

I think the team has to realize that at this point of his career, Rudy's offense isn't gonna change much and stop trying to force-feed him...its just very inefficient basketball

The Randle drive and kick game is really nice.

I'm a Mike fan since he got draft. I'm not worried, he will need few games to find his pace. Getting better already last game. And we need his calm and passing ability.
but i agree at some part we should put a bit of RD.

Offense imo is definitely lot more dynamic this season...will be interesting to see how they are gonna look in few months after more gametime together
