I don't think so... I called Wolves in 5 against the Lakers and Wolves in 5 against the Warriors.

I think we beat OKC in 6 games. And it's not about OKC being experienced in the playoffs...it's about being able to take that next step. Wolves have been to the WCF last year...OKC has not. Wolves win the Championship for Mike.

Certainly hope you are right. Did you call Curry got injured too?

There is no way we beat GSW in 5 if Curry wasn't hurt. The GSW series exposed a lot of Twolves deficiencies. Gobert didn't play 3 of the regular season games vs OKC so it's hard to gauge how the teams match up. Hope your prediction is right.

It wouldn't have mattered if Curry played or not. It might not have been in 5 but it would have been in 6. We are better than GSW. I can't wait to hear the excuses when we beat OKC too.

Our defense has been amazing. If we can hold them under 110 in most games, we win in 6.
I think I am most confident because we have yet to play our best ball on the offensive side. Sustain the defensive we've been playing and start hitting some shots, along with taking care of the ball, and we got this!

OKC is going to swarm Ant/Randle. We need McDaniels, Conley, DDV, NAW, and Naz to make open shots. Rudy catching a few difficult passes would help too. If the supporting cast can make OKC pay in game one for doubling, it’ll free up Ant to make plays later in the series.

I agree. That said, I found the officiating of game 7 between Thunder/Nuggets to be unusual to say the least. OKC was allowed a ton of arm and wrist contact, they were allowed to hook Jokic, hold Murray, and trip Gordon with no whistles. I bring this up to suggest OKC fouls a lot. If the refs let us play this style of defense, complete with a ton of physical and often illegal contact, then this turns into a 3 point shooting contest, and frankly I like our odds. But, if they back us off defensively, (not allowing contact,) the way they did to Denver, and allow OKC that level of contact, then our chances rest more in their missing shots than anything else.

OKC 7.5 point favorite tonight and -375 for the series. Anybody who truly believes the Wolves will win this series can make good money betting on the Wolves. I'm going to see if my Hard Rock Casino has a sports book. I like only 3 blocks away.

There are a number of X factor players and stats, but the more I think about this matchup, the more it comes down to defensive rebounding. Both teams have shown they can be very cold and miss a lot of shots. Both teams have strong half court defenses that can punish the other. Grabbing rebounds and attacking in transition for easy/easier buckets is gonna be key for both teams. Offensive rebounding is gonna be harder for us against the size of OKC, and I think we actually give up on it in favor of getting back and playing defense. If we limit live ball turnovers and attack the glass I think this could be a long series for the Thunder.
