Alice, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, STP...what a glorious era of music from Seattle. I was a HUGE Candlebox fan, too...their first album just hammers from start to finish but they couldn't follow it up like the other bands did.

Only Pearl Jam survived unscathed from the heroine plague and suicidal depression amongst those artists. "Man in the Box" from Alice was sadly very prophetic for that generation of bands.
