How many years now and boxing out is still non existent. Either get off your high horse and teach some crap you’ve been neglecting for years or hire some new bench coaches who will teach basic basketball fundamentals. My god

The fast breaks are horrid, the boxing out horrid, end of quarter sets horrid.

Tell me one NBA coach who uses practice time to teach boxing out. This isn't junior high. If they haven't picked it up by now, they probably never will.

Teach / preach / emphasize/ drill it into them over and over. You know, this **** coaches do?

Finch admitted in an interview last year or the year before that boxing out wasn’t really a focus on the modern nba. Almost like an excuse for why it’s so bad.

You want to set yourself apart from the rest of the league? Do the small things other teams aren’t doing.

This unit has blown every game they have closed for us.

Not much to learn today. Starter make the job, second unit was not good and get smashed at the end of the game as they play some Bulls starter. Nothing to worry except the usual things : Turnovers, lack of shooting of when ANT, Randle are not doing it.

Positive points for me, Rob keep improving. Still far from perfect but he is showing he improve. Clark is a disapointment so far after being the last season good surprise.

Preseason will be forgotten in a few weeks. I think we will see much better results once the season starts.

It’s funny bulls put most of their starters out there to close against the wolves third string lol

I wonder what is wrong with guys such as Minott and Miller who have all the tools in defense, but struggle to be a good team defender.

Probably just testing things out. On paper, it's an interesting concept. Randle is strong enough to handle most centers, and Ant and TSJ can handle a lot of forwards, but very few opposing frontcourt players would have the footspeed to be able to stay in front of them. And they can all shoot. But it's all predicated on being able to get some defensive stops, and they were struggling and missing assignments in transition defense etc.
