If you could ask Wittman 1 question what would it be.

If Jordan is there, then we trade our pick for theres on draft day, if not, we keep the pick and go BPA.

I don't want Hibbert that bad.

This is not me trying to get Hibbert.

If Pg is a legit need then this trade makes sense. Conley is a "true" pg. and with he 5-7 range we are still able to fill the 5 spot with Hibbert/Hardin/Lopez/love whoever. Or even Jordan if he fell.

Also remember we have no promise Jordan comes out.

if Jordan comes out and we are convinced he is our guy then I want him. I really do, but if we are not convinced there is much difference with the top 6 or so then a trade down that nets us legit talent at 2 spots would be the logical choice.

Btw, I would have 2 questions for Wittman

1.) Why do we insist on playing a zone against teams that shoot well from the 3 (portland/GS as examples)

2.) Why is Richard not getting more minutes with cookie and walker? Cookie and walker as the 4/5 is only effective in a 6'9 and under league.

Considering everything, why isn't Chris Richard starting?

If I could have two more, they would be;

Why is Michael Doleac still on the roster?
And
What do you think you can trade Walker for?

Why aren't Richard, Green, and even Brewer playing more? We're in full blown rebuilding, so we should see what these players have and if they're a long term fit.

Based on those quotes I would ask:
1. What do you view as our biggest need?

And if I could get a second question it would be:
2. Why are you so bent on playing Foye at the 2 when our options at the 1 are Telfair and Jaric?

I didn't really see the Wittman interview yesterday is anything that groundbreaking or surprising.

The Wolves have been talking about Foye playing off the ball more since a Hoiberg interview this summer. That and the rumor that Conley was #4 on our draft board this past draft make me think that the Wolves either don't have a lot of confidence in Foye's PG abilities, or have a ton of confidence in his ability as a perimeter scorer.

I also didn't think that Wittman said we are drafting by need. I think the way that he phrased it was "We have to look at who we have now that we can build around and how what's available in the draft might fit." I took it more as him saying that we don't know who and/or how many of these young guys that will be worth building around. That makes a little more sense to me, because it's basically been the company line since McHale went with the youth movement. It's also debatable how much say Wittman has in the draft process anyway.

When Hoiberg was on earlier in the season, after getting back from the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic (a tournament at MSG that Beasley, Mayo and Rose played in), and he said that just seen 3 players that had a very good chance to be among the first 3 or 4 picks.

speaking about a big man in the draft, looking into the second round (where we will have the top pick most likely), Nathan Jarwai whos playing in the aussie NBL at the moment would be a good pick up.

Hes getting 18 and 10 in his rookie season here, and is an absolout beast in the post. A great banger with a big body, standing at 6 10. He could potentially start with big Al, or come off the bench to have a nice tandem with cookie. I rekon hes worth a shot if he declares.

Isn't the NBL the league that Dusty Rychart's something like a 17/7 player in?

You have one question to ask Wittman, and that's what you're going with?

And my question to Randy Wittman (in an aggressive and highly accusatory tone):

ARE YOU SAYING DUSTY RYCHART ISN'T A COMPLETELY BAD ASS BALLER?!??!?

Randy Wittman confusion ensues

He's one of the stars? That's flippin' sweet! I loved watching him when he was on the Gophers. He wasn't strong, wasn't fast, couldn't jump and couldn't shoot, but nobody could stop him from getting 18/9 a game. He was the subject of a feature article in ESPN the magazine way back, and the Gophers coach at the time, Dan Monson basically said "I don't know how he keeps producing, he doesn't seem like he should be good, I keep on trying to replace him, but he keeps not letting me."
