If we could get a C from Seattle, i think i would rather have Petro

petro is probably not going to happen. Sene is the only really option from Seattle, but they are really stacked at the wing positions as well. What about sending him to the spurs for that imahimi (spelling) guy. He is doing pretty well in the d-league. Seems to fit in the Nazr mold (6'10 250) decent at blocking shots, defending and rebounding.

I'd do that in a heartbeat. POB is at least worth taking a flyer on for half a season.

I'd do the 2nds or Boston's pick in a fraction of a heartbeat. I might have to think for a minute on the Miami pick but I'd still probably do it. Don't think Dallas would do this though.

Diop is an UFA - no reason to trade for him for half a season.

Another idea: It seems as though 'Toine and GG have formed a bond. Shimmy agrees to a low ball buyout (maybe 10-12 of the 17 mil he's owed), Wolves buy out both 'Toine and GG, both sign with Boston.

I don't believe DAL extended Diop, and we don't need a rental. We'll have to make an offer for the unrestricted free agent in the Summer.

I'm not saying it isn't fair or that it wouldn't improve the team but I don't want to do it. The warriors didn't extend POB either, so he'd be a rental. If he did poorly here, we wouldn't want him, and if he did well here, all he's doing is raising his cost in free agency.

I'd like to take a look at the kid this summer, and since he lives here, that shouldn't be a problem. However, for now, I'd prefer he moulder away on GSW's bench. Nellie won't play him, and that's good news for us.

Green can't go back to Boston until next season, but I'd be in favor of buying out Walker so he can go back to the Celtics. They could actually use him.

OOPS -- I was so enthralled with the idea of buying out Walker, that I assumed the GG part was a trade, not a buy-out. My mistake.

GG can go back to the Celts if he's cut, right, just not in a trade?

Snyder and a 1st I would do.

I have nothing against Green. I think he still has a chance to at least be a decent player. I think if he was on a team like Golden State or Phoenix, he would have a much better time.

Staying here is not in the best interest of his career. He gets no PT and has no chance to play into a better contract. The wolves ask him to be patient but he has to look out for himself too.

Hopefully we can find a good deal for him. Maybe get back a big or a good pick.

Snyder and a 1st would be too good to be true. It does give houston another athletic wing that was compared to tracy mcgrady when he came out....

it would give us the chance to take BPA with our 1st pick and take Devon Hardin with houston's pick.

It would be nice to get Green off this team - I can't stand his moping when things go wrong. Or his basketball.

I love the Harrison and POB trades. Both those work for both teams involved.

Houston fans have this collective man crush on Gerald Green, i just dont understand. IF Houston's GM trade a first rounder for green, he's going to get fired, simple as that. GG isn't a basketball player period.

You might be able to get the small TPE and Seattles second round pick for Green.

But Green hasn't done anything for his stock. I seriously doubt Seattle gives up anything else for him especially a young big. Sene has been doing really well in the um..D-league not that, that's incredible or anything but a 7 foot prospect is better in my mind than a wing prospect who hasn't shown much improvement.

Petro has played pretty well as of late when he has been given minutes. Had 9pts 6rebs and 5blks last night.

He seriously asked for a trade? What a whiny little bitch. Some guys had to earn their pt. Look at John Salmons. it took him over five seasons to get consistent playing time. And he is still playing behind Ron Artest. Green needs to grow up. I hope he gets some time somewhere, because if he can't figure out that he can't even crack the rotation on of of the bottom dwellers in the NBA, then he's as good as gone. No disrespect towards your team at all. They actually have a chance to finish ahead of a few teams when Foye comes back. But I'd rather have Tarence Kinsey, the Grizzly who was waived earlier this season, then Green. Too bad he had to get publicity this way.

*Jaric and Green to Cleveland for Snow, Dwayne Jones and a pick works.

The agent asked for the trade, not Gerald. Gerald likely knew of it, but he hasn't said anything to the papers about it, and it seems like he's letting his agent handle it.

Green's actually played well enough to get more (not starter type minutes, but more) minutes, he's just not in the team's long term plans, so guys who are (like Brewer).
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

^Gerald isn't saying anything because his agent told him not to say anything. Green obviously is in agreement with his agent, otherwise, we'd hear him say that he's willing to stay with the team and see what he get this summer. Boo to the handling of this situation. I hope he gets what he needs out of the deal, but this is the wrong way to go about it.
