So our offense has been bad every year Rubio has been in the league?

No, that is not my point. THE OFFENSE IS THE PROBLEM! Minnesota’s offense was phenomenal with Rick Adelman and still good with Flip (despite his shortcomings on adapting to the modern NBA). The issue is that Minnesota runs an iso-heavy offense that devalues efficiency, this idea that Ricky was a reason that our spacing was poor the previous two seasons is objectively ludicrous (every stat proved it), and that the terrible offense and prioritizing of player roles is clearly the problem that leads to such inefficiency.

Cut out Jamal, limit Wiggins, feature Towns, and give Nemanja free-reign. This is basic stuff that literally anybody should realize would make our spacing and efficiency better. It is painfully obvious.

I'm with you on our offense. I think its not good. I know we put up numbers but we are easy to shut down and I think, predictable. I'm not a fan of the system. Our defense is an absolute joke.

I could not agree more. We are the worst coached team in the NBA.

I wouldn’t go that far, there are some horrid coaches (Billy Donovan).

Bottom ten though? No question in my mind.

I love the cat in the tube Domejandro.

BTW, this Utah coach by comparison is genius.

The Wolves offensive frequency for iso is under 9% and one of the highest rated offenses in the league.

We are one of the highest rated offenses because of the sheer fire-power on the team. Come on man, we are kidding ourselves if we think that Minnesota is well-coached offensively, it’s painfully obvious how over-utilized Wiggins and Crawford are, it limits Minnesota’s offensive ceiling considerably.

As a side note, technically shots that are one screen into a jumper are not considered isolation, that is why the statistic is so low. I think we both recognize that one of our most common play sets is one screen for the ball-handler into shot, which is (if we are being honest) a completely stagnant, isolation type of offensive principal.

Biggest game of the year and the team lays an egg. What a nightmare. All these playoff teams seem to be getting better and the Wolves are getting worse. Hopefully there's time to get Jimmy Butler back playing like himself.

Lol Crawford is garbage. Down by 25 and throws a dumbass behind the back pass to blow an easy layup.

And still the 4th highest rated offense. This basic stuff that you were saying before isn’t backed up by statistics.

Loser-mentality incoming, but wouldn’t we be better off just accepting getting the ninth or tenth seed and rolling into the off-season with #14 and #20?

Why doesn't Wiggins attack the rim any more?

Seems like it'd be smart to get the starters out down 25 with 7 min left. Especially as they've been playing like 43 min/g and have another big game with Denver next.

Well I am going to flat out say it. I don't believe in this team. We can be fun to watch and when healthy we can make some noise but I truly don't think we are a good team. I think we are probably the worst team in the playoff on the Western conference side. This is year 1 on the path to being good and hopefully we can refine and improve every year but we don't got it right now. This defense will not cut it. Our offense will not cut it. I don't think our style of play has legs either. I think Thibs will have to make some big changes if he wants to build a real contender here and I don't know if he's flexible enough to do that.

I think what we lack most as a team is an identity. We got no bread and butter, no hallmark, we don't have the confidence and poise that comes with having that. I think we will make the playoffs, this loss wont stop that, but this was a playoff game and we were not at all up to the challenge. We got blown out at home and I am not seeing the fight. I have enjoyed this season and look forward to the playoffs but this is def not a year where I am saying "I love this team!" We are better than we have been in a long time but as Chuck would say "we aint ready." And I am even talking about that as a contender. We aint ready to play a solid playoff team.

just like the match up with embiid, kat mentally checked out against gobert.

We need a pg that can get him some easier looks because kat cant iso and overpower these guys.
