Why Jrue when they could get Chris Paul for probably less than this?

I understand doing whatever it takes to appease the Greek Freak, but...

Seemed to good to be jrue at first but then three first round picks and pick swaps also? For expiring 30 year old jrue?? Yikes. If they choke in the playoffs again this wont end pretty.

Who else is desperate for win now moves?? Philly?

I’d say the 6 years age difference was a factor

But Paul is way better player IMO...

I don't see Jrue moving the needle for them tbh

Milwaukee only makes that trade knowing the Greek Freak signs his extension, right?

Wolves got a **** deal back when they traded butler jesus, Saric and Roco only where were our three first round picks.

Man so much is shifting, Suns looking like a playoff team. Rockets may be dropping out if they lose Harden.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

I think we did solid but we were under the gun, pretty desperate to make something happen thanks to Thibs putting it off and Butler going all media on us.

I don't see Jrue moving the needle for them tbh

No doubt this last season CP3 proved his worth, but he’ll be turning 36 in a couple months and is in load management territory for the rest of his career.

I also don’t think I’d sleep well if the wolves paid 3 frps for Jrue but they obviously have a commitment from Giannis if they make the deal.

But a cominment from Giannis would happend with Chris Paul too. Jrue is not going to solve a lot of the Bucks problems.
I see in Jrue a better version of Bledsoe, way better actually, but still, similiar players in the style of play.

Shooting and playmaking is not going to improve much with this trade.

Has the protections on those Milwaukee picks been provided yet?

Jrue has many years left and Paul is on his very last legs. Similar skill.

I don't give them that much credit. Bidded against themselves for Bledsoe at expense of Brogdon.

Love Giannis and Holiday is a good player but this doesn't end well.

Paul is not a much better player. My best guess is Jrue is the better of the two this season.

And Jrue with 1 year left got 3 first round picks...

How the hell Brooklyn is going to get Harden with 2 years left on his contract with Levert and Dinwiddie!

If they are giving up three, don’t they almost have to be unprotected?

That was much better than three crappy first round picks from the Bucks.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
