It is amazing how valuable a good agent can be. Although, should had published it a few days earlier to save 5 million bucks. Well worth the 10% commission. I hope no reporter ask Kyrie to recite his message in post-game interviews. If it's publicity for the book/movie that he is after, looks like it worked. I have no idea the book/movie existed before and I don't follow Kyrie. But now I want to read it myself and see how bad it is. :D I have not read the book and I do not agree with anything that is in the book/movie :D

I don't think you can know you don't agree with ANYTHING in the book movie until you actually read or see it. You might find out something you do agree with. I'm kind of tempted to watch the movie to see what all the fuss is about. It will probably brainwash me and I will turn into a raging Jew Hater.

This right here my friend is the problem. Normal humans who would not watch the movie will watch the movie. This raises the prospect of more such movies as they become profitable. Meanwhile abnormal humans (the kind who worship Q and think Trump is literally Jesus,) will get either indoctrinated or at least confirmation of a long held suspicion, and thus become more dangerous. We live in a society where number of views or reads or clicks is a big deal financially. Moreover we live in a society where misinformation is rampant and leads to real physical danger. Look up Pizza gate if you don’t believe me.

You laugh, but innocent people could have died because of pizza gate. Meanwhile people stormed the capital and planned to kidnap the Michigan governor, and plan domestic terror, some of them very much convinced that democrats are baby eaters and pedophiles and that Trump is Jesus returned to stop them. *** in this country is crazy. Don’t feed or tease the bigoted crazies.

Let's cut the conversation on politics. While I generally would overlook it, after seeing the explosion on the General Board on this topic, I'm going to request we reorient the conversation back on basketball.

(To be clear, I am not condemning or agreeing with any position, this is just me doing a blanket halt on the topic.)

Here is a link the Kyrie thread on the Current Affairs forum, for anyone interested in discussing it further!

Cavs off to amazing start. I predict they get the #1 seat out East. Love is playing like he is back in Wolves uniform. I am not sure there is room for Rubio when he comes back. It's a deep team. Garland and Mitchell played well together. The other Jazz trade which had worked out well for both sides. If the two short line up works in Cleveland. I am still hopeful the two tall line up works in Minneapolis.

It’s early. Give it time. The west is in chaos right now. When teams get their **** together then all that is left for Utah is a bunch of role players who run hard and whose shooting regresses to the mean. Also look for Ainge to make at least one more trade to help the tank. A first round elimination in the year VW is available would make Ainge look terrible. People would be asking why not keep Mitchell if you want to win. Or trade for more win now assets. I seriously doubt Markkanen and Clarkson win you a playoff series.

This Grizzlies vs Pelicans game is hype is hell. We are so far away from playing at this level right now. The energy and consistency is off the charts, really hope our team can find something together, we need to be so much sharper. Its amazingly fun when a team is playing together.

I agree I see Minnesota as a low play in seed maybe even out of the play in. The roster is just not that good.

You’re probably right, but I think there is a lesson to be learned here.

Overall, MIN has much more talent on the roster than either of these teams. However, teams with a strong organization and good culture can sometimes get their lesser talent to over-perform. They know how to stress win-creation, by insisting on defense or non-sloppy play. MIN’s organization is changing, but it’s nowhere near the level or tradition that UTA and SAS have. Maybe Finch can become our Pop someday, and that would be a monumental achievement, but for now, I don’t think the starts of the three teams is as shocking as many believe. It’s not just about talent.

True. But, month one is always chaotic, especially in the first 3 weeks. Guys who need structure tend to struggle while guys who don’t tend to over preform. Finch’s system tends to be on the looser less structured side as it is. This creates more opportunities to start badly. I just assumed with the level of natural talent we would be fine. But 2 years in a row I have been wrong.

Maxey scheduled for an MRI tomorrow and the 76ers on a back to back. The Wolves need to win that game.

Bucks are about to lose to the Sixers, Embiid is playing at an MVP level this last week or two so it won't be easy, they are humming.
