Anthony Edwards doesn't care about basketball. Don't forget.

Exactly why I asked a little bit ago. The calls just seemed too odd.

A win is a win, ugly or not , i take it. Specially against Portland who play at the fastest pace in the league.

Thanks for ANT, Jaden (and Rudy for the 4th quarter).
Randle got his stats but he was awful in defense.
TSJ was great, he show he deserve to play.

Donte, Mike and NAZ were beyond bad. But it's only the first game. Nothing to worry.

So just what he was averaging. I think he got most or all of those late.

Ant played like the clutch super star that he is. I was impressed by our rebounding in that the whole team was involved. Ant led with 7 boards but Rudy, Randle and McD each had 6. The bench had 16 boards! I love that stat.

Wolves played good D down the stretch too. Nice win.

Dilly firmly planted on the bench.

Good win to start the season. Ant looked like a legit MVP candidate. Jaden and Julius were good. Shannon showed he can fill the NAW minutes.

Going forward there are a few things Finch needs to figure out. First, the team badly needs to eliminate the large number of really dumb turnovers. Second, we need a better plan for bringing the ball up the court against ball pressure. Way too many possessions didn't even start the half court offense until after 10 seconds had ticked off the shot clock. Lastly, we need to figure out how to defend the paint when Rudy is off the court.

We lost the first second and third quarters, but won the 4th by 11.

I think starting DDV is the right move, but Wolves will probably be bottom 8 team in TOs/game offensively
but will probably match that TO rate defensively

As much as I would've wanted Dilly to play. We would've lost this game if he played over Bones. Bones was ok in his stint.

According to the announcers Ant scored 10 in the last 4:31. So if that's correct it was all of his points late.

I shouldn't hit the panic button after game 1 but man did this team look like they could use a competent point guard.

I do not foresee most teams pressuring the ball like that. OKC and HOU are probably the only ones, maybe CLE.

I didn't see Bones do anything better in his 8 minutes than Dilly would have done, but we will never know. We have one of the best rookies in the NBA in Berringer and he didn't get a single second of PT.
