It was bad effort, he had enough time to just get his hand in garcias face whih would have made garcias shot rushed due to the shot clock and more likely to miss.

Instead there was a fake and a wide-open shot..

Telfair dribbles up too slowly so he can get last shot. Shoots from 2 feet behind line for an airball. Brewer rushes in and grabs rebound.

Waits for Klomp to blame Brewer.
