Re: OT Thread, Part III
I have to vent a little now. Here's the deal. One of my coworkers has been officially on sick notice for about 10 days now because she has been dealing with some bacterial infection. At first I was a bit worried, too, because the tap water is officially impure and we had no idea whether it was contagious or not. Anyway, after a few days of her spending time sick in her bed she showed up at work one night to talk to the boss. I was scared **** to see her as she had red dots all over her face. She said she was feeling physically fine at that point, though, it was just that she couldn't work as a waitress because she looked like a zombie.
So after another couple of days the dots were going away slowly but remained obviously visible, making her still unavailable for work, she comes down to the restaurant again and asks us if we need something from the city 30 miles away and she'd take the staff car. Thinking she'd be back later that day I didn't need anything urgently. After she's gone one of the chefs says she'll spend the night in the city. Then I got really mad. It pisses me off that she takes the staff car that the rest of us might need to buy groceries (read: beer
). On top of that she sees a friend of hers in the city while we're working overtime trying to fill the void she left while being officially sick. That's pretty damn anti-social towards the rest of us.
Oh and for the record, instead of spending one night in the city she's been gone for four days now. The audacity.
I feel like I want to drown a puppy right now.

Oh and speaking of co-workers, my fellow German waitress who's kinda cute was out with us drinking at the local watering hole last night. As we were listening to some punk music she started talking about punk music and such. I was pretty damn surprised to see that. She never struck me as someone who'd listen to this kind of music. Anyway, I thought that she might not just be kinda cute looking but a cool gal, too.
Fast forward a few moments as she takes off her cardigan to hit the dancefloor in a top I saw that she rocks armpit hair. Not just stubbles but huge bushes actually. Yikes.

Ha. Europeans.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

I was going to say that if she's turned the other way, you wouldn't have to see it, but then I realized that if her armpits are like that, there's probably a rainforest down below.

if a female has excessive body hair, i would assume she's married or ignores basic hygiene. it's great being a guy because we can do whatever we want without any repercussions.

i watched a few videos where reporters ask north koreans (through a north korean interpreter) about the problems occurring in north korea. in other videos i've seen, the interpreter actually collects the names of those being interviewed. what happens if the residents answer "incorrectly?" nothing that they reported on was really that enlightening, so really i don't see the benefit in all of this.

I watched seasons 1-4 of that and enjoyed it immensely, then watched the first couple episodes of season 5 and I was totally bored of it. Did I miss anything?

Basically just Walt trying to make it with his own meth empire with problems within the business and at home with his family and avoiding letting Hank find him out. There is a pretty big twist in the last episode.

Let me guess: they show him waking up in bed all covered in sweat, then he relaxes and says "oh...it was all a dream"

I shouldn't even say twist, more like a surprise, and you'd have to have watched an earlier episode to understand it. It's the final minute of the last episode.

so I figure if I can crank out 5 mediocre jokes about Lebron a week on the general board, I should be able to crack 10,000 and 1's by Christmas.
