Beringer is worth the roll of the dice. Best pick we could have made.

I hope you're right.

Clayton jr would prolly fit any team in nba, as well rounded backup guard at first.

I didn’t have Traore going in front of Jakucionis. But if you watch the Euro U18s and Adidas Next Gen from last summer, Traore was much more impactful.

EXACTLY!!!!
Why are people whining that he'll need time to develop?
We already don't have enough minutes for the young guys currently on the roster.

I am getting this third hand (my brother got it off Twitter, and I don’t know his source,) but he is not draft and stash and will be used with the main club. If this is true, then that bodes poorly for Leonard Miller. I have to wonder if at his current skill level he isn’t still better than at least 5 or 10 backup rotational bigs in the NBA. If Rudy plays 30 and JB plays 14 with the other 4 being eaten by Jaden/Randle/Naz, then I am fine with that. This kid seems like Miles Turner without the shot. In 3-4 years when Ant is ready to explode into prime Dynasty mode, this might be the ideal big man running mate. What JB needs more than anything else is to develop his mid range and 3 point jump shot.

Hope someone falls and 31 is a hot commodity for teams to try trading for all night since the 2nd round is tomorrow.

I love TC, but I think he screwed this one up.

So who are we looking for at 31? Move up for Jakucionis? Fleming? Saraf? Wings like Gonzalez or Thiero?

?

mobility at that height and length is rare

Robert Williams, Holmgren, Bam, Okongwu

those are the only ones off the top of my head in the league currently

and i say this as someone who would have picked five others before JB

Saraf at 31 unless Jaku is still on the board. There has to be something about him we don't know causing the slide.

Saraf is who I'm hoping for now.

Who knows at the end of the day. We've got enough depth in the short term. It would be frustrating having another young guy rot on the bench, given ZERO opportunity from the coach. Better drafting a HIGH upside guy that needs some time.

Maybe another Justin Patton scenario? We picked him 16 in 2017. Huge bust. Drafted after him:

John Collins
Jarret Allen
Josh Hart
OG Anouby
Derrick White

It sure will be. I'm disgusted with the reach pick on Beringer while passing on Clayton Jr.

This pick was all about drafting for need rather than just taking the BPA. That almost always comes back to haunt you.

Richardson and Newell have slid pretty far. Probably coming off the board soon.

He's 5 years younger than WCJ. Let's see how they both look 5 years from now.
