We can not underestimate Luka and Kyrie.

The game summary basically comes down to Luka and Kyrie played like they needed to while Ant and KAT did not.

I was prepared to drop a game or 2 in this series because Dallas shot the lights out that night.
To blow the first one in a game where they made only 6/24 has me greatly disturbed.

If he’s going to get torched on defense. Absolutely torched. Why keep him on Kyrie if it’s going to cause him to be unable to close on the other end because he’s worn down?

Wasted a good Jaden game…can’t do that.

First time we lost when Jaden scored 18+. We were 4-0 before hand. But to be fair, Jaden disappeared in the fourth.

I can’t fault Jaden, he did his part. The 4th was supposed to be the stars time and it didn’t happen. The Towns offensive interference was a big call. Shouldn’t have come down to that though.

Welp, we got beat. Dallas had a great gameplan. We had to shoot like crazy to win that is not our game. We need to go back to the drawing board.

Why does the other team always have the great gameplan?
Where are the coaching adjustments>
This is the 3rd series in a row teams have attacked our offense this way.

It's either Ant going full on ISO or 4th and 5th options making bad decisions.
It looks like absolute garbage.

We have had some incredible gameplans and made many adjustments. The first round we schemed the Suns very well and rarely had to adjust. Second round was back and fourth chess. I am sure we will change something up for game two. That said, Barkley looks right, this is not a great matchup. I underestimated the effect Dallas' frontcourt could have on the game. They did a fantastic job tonight shutting out the paint and crashing the offensive glass.

We will see if we can adjust our play. We aren't an offensive team, we aren't a shootout team. We need to make the game more grindy. Just have to see if we can. This might also have to be a series where we make KAT more of our go to guy and he hasn't played that role in some time now, not sure if we can because we have never really figured out how to get him and Ant going in the same game.

I'm not impressed with Dallas at all. I'm impressed with Luka but we played bad ball. Their stars stepped up our didn't.

Role players didn't shoot well for them. But how can you not be impressed with their rebounding? (Won them the game), hustle paint defence, and how their rim running bigs feasted on our drop coverage for 3 quarters?
