hontoni!?

1. Beasley 2. Rose 3. Lopez 4. Love 5. Mayo 6. Hibbert 7. Augustin 8. Gordon

I won't touch on Gallinari because that's not my arena, but the 8 above is my top 8, I could be happy with any of them, after that 8 I'm not really interested too much and I'm relatively indifferent from about the next 10 or so. Its like Chase Budinger vs Chris Douglas Roberts, either of those guys could be #10 or #20 in the draft.

But that top 8 shan't be penetrated unless by brute force (like Darrell Arthur carries Kansas to the final four averaging 30/10 the whole way)

great player, but bad fit for the Minnesota Timberwolves. I think if it comes down to him and Gordon, I prefer a Foye/Gordon backcourt to a Bayless/Foye backcourt. Better defense and size.

But frankly, if I have a top 5 pick, I don't really want either one.

yea, I agree. Talent wise Bayless and Gordon are top 8, but horrible fits for this team.

Beasley
Mayo/lopez
Rose

top-4 is the key.

If we decide to go BPA and take a guard, we HAVE to give Patrick O'Bryant a chance and sign him. This guy is so smooth offensively and he can pass, and from the looks of it, he is LONG.(no homo)

We don't have to sign Patrick O'bryant for any reason. He's pretty much a scrub.

The fact that that scrub would likely be the best Center that the Wolves Organization has ever had is enough reason for me to want to sign him.

I think that's a reach. Dudes played 38 games in his career. Give me Felton Spencer any day of the week.

If he's cheap enough, he would be a better backup option than Mad Dog, maybe even Richard. He at least some some size and a little potential. With limited minutes and a limited contract, he could be useful.

Most people who are clamoring for POB to be signed here realize that he is just a prospect. He certainly isn't a sure thing. Basically if we don't draft a center, he is a good alternative to try out.

I'm all for signing POB, but my expectations of him are only slightly above Richard.

Getting fixated on one center is a recipe for disappointment. I just hope that they find a way this off season to add a seven footer, be in FA or the draft.

:o Draft Express now has the best case scenario for Gallinari as...

European Version Of LeBron James

How can we not take him with that endorsement?

Bout time they updated that. I do think it is a bad comparison since the weak spots of his game are

Anyone else disappointed with how some of the "top" prospects have played so far?

Beasley - Stud. Played like a stud, but I really don't know if he can be a 3 and Beasley/AJ at 4/5 is not a good fit.

Jordan - Anyone know why he only played a couple of minutes? I know he had food poisoning during the Big 12 tourney, but everyone said he was good to go.

Bayless - Second most athletic player in the draft (after Rose), but the more I see him the more I fear he's Ben Gordon part II...as opposed to a scoring point. If he can learn to play a little point, his game reminds me alot of Marbury (w/o the head problems).

Mayo - I don't think he'll be a superstar, but a very good player (fringe all star eventually). He just isn't a "great" athlete and struggles to blow by people and this only will worsen when he has to deal with NBA athletes and 2 guards that are a couple inches taller then he is. But has an incredible feel for the game, and I think would be a nice fit next to Foye.

Lopez - I've seen him 9 or 10 times this year. I think he'll be a good big but never a star. His lack of explosiveness scares me. I've seen on multiple occaisons him getting a pass near the rim and not be able to explode up and dunk, instead he kinda flips the ball towards the rim. This lack of athletism is a reason he shoots a pretty poor percentage for a big (46 or 47%) and is the reason I don't think he'll be a big time shot blocker at the next level. I think his ceiling is an Andrew Bogut type player in the NBA, which isn't that bad. Btw, I think his brother would be a steal if he comes out and we can get him at the top of the 2nd round.

Last note, I think the Randolph will end up going in the 3-7 range. I've seen him a couple of times and he could end up being the best player in the draft. I just don't think he's a good fit on the wolves.

Sorry about the post being so long.

I disagree with Ranoplh not being a good fit for the wolves, I think he would be a great fit in all honesty, He's a terrific shot blocker for a wing and has quite a bit of upside. I'd take him without hesitation at #3 if he could shoot the 3 ball. As it stands now my draft board looks different than most fans after Beasly\Rose I'd seriously look at Randolph\Greene\Gallinari with the #3 pick or just trading down and skimming something off the top.

After the Beasly\Rose I see the draft as largely a flurry of guards that are probably at best equal to Foye\McCants. They may be slightly better but after Foyes last few games I can't say that I'd rather have any of them than him. Lopez would be nice but meh I'd rather see a shotblocking C for us.

Right now, Randolph is not a top 6 pick. Personally I worry about his game in the pros

I think he's got the talent to warrant a pick that high, but he's a long way from a finished product. He needs to add both bulk and polish.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

I know it is the LSU thing, but does he remind anyone of a less athletic TT?
