If we make a deal like this, then we cant make other deals.

And we still need to fill other positions.

Jrue Holiday resigns for 120mil/4yrs. Fourth year is a team option. S&T to MIN for #1, JJ, Culver, Evans and Spellman.

Resigns Juancho, JMac, Kelan Martin. S&T Beasley to NYK for #27.

Draft Tillman, Robert Woodard, Ty-Shon Alexander.

KAT/Reid/Tillman
Tillman/Juancho/Vanderbilt
Layman/Woodard/Martin
Holiday/Okogie/Ty-Shon Alexander
DLo/JMac/Nowell

In this case we will have three ballhandlers Holiday/DLo/JMac, we can combine them with comboguards Ty-Shon Alexander and Nowell who both are big athletic and big enough (6'4", 6'7" wingspan, 200lbs) to defend opponents, while shooting well from 3pt.

Tillman is an NBA ready big with excellent defense, passing and slashing game. Vanderbilt and Woodard are two prospects with high defensive potential, who fit well pace-and-space game. We can put defensive minded lineup Tillman-Vanderbilt-Okogie-Ty-Shon Alexander-Holiday or offensive minded KAT-Juancho-Layman-DLo-JMac.

The inclusion of Culver is where I disagree if the trade is for only Holiday.

do you guys think we're involved in this trade? might have #1, #17, culver and JJ going out...Kings will get compensated with maybe our 1st rder and philly's 1st rder for taking on Al Hartford's contract. #1, Culver and JJ going to Philly. Buddy Hield also going to Philly. We get Ben Simmons. Philly draft Lamelo Ball with 1st. There's rumors saying Ball's going 1st now. Now way we drafting for ourselves right?

Tank for the Kings by doing that trade? How?
Even tought that Horford contract is awful, the Buddy Hield contract is not better. And they lack bigs. How is that move to "tank"?

I’m sure Horford would be real pleased with that trade. He’d probably smash his own foot with a sledgehammer to fail his physical before spending the last 2-3 years of his career in a rebuild.

Jrue isn't a FA

He's extension eligible but if he receives extension by NOP he can't be traded for 6 months, which would be passed trade deadline

Holiday is not worth the number one pick much less Culver included, Jesus!

If it's the Bulls i'll take Lauri Markkanen, Otto Porter Jr. and Kris Dunn+#4 pick for #1, JJ, Spellman and filler.

We could be drafting for Philly too...they're interested in Ball as well.

Thanks for being the first person to explain that. I've been wondering. With no extension consider me at least not interested.

Trading a draft pick for a 31 year old holiday and giving him 120 million?
Ugh no thanks.

Hield to Philly would make a ton of sense for them, but what on earth would Sacramento get out of it?
Is there a mother lode of draft picks coming their way?
They need to get Marvin Bagley healthy and see what they have in him, not block him with old man Horford.

Sign me up for the Thunder package he mentioned during the Lowe podcast. They mentioned Alexander, the 25th this year and a future first from the trove of picks they have from Houston.....

Alexander is a stud already. The only problem 2 years away from a max as well.....

Did they say this was possible? I listened but while doing other things. I know they mentioned SGA, but I thought they said OKC wouldn’t move him for the pick. May have missed it though.

Lowe suggested if you see SGA as the second or third best on your team, he may not be untouchable, especially if you think Ball can be the best.

If it’s 1 and filler for sga, 25 and a future pick you obviously take it and run.

Has sga indicated he wants out of there already?

Well worth it, but apparently we don't have that option.

On the Lowe podcast they said it would only be Wendell Carter and the 4th. Nothing more, not even Maurkinen. At that point I say keep the pick.

Givoni and ESPN and Dunc’d On say LaMelo Ball is far above anyone else in this draft.

Krascinski thinks it’s Anthony Edwards

We don’t know.
