Personally, I see some Joe Johnson/Paul Pierce in him.

Mobley will be the best pro. He's also the guy who will maintain his trade value the best of all the top players this year.

(that he will need to live up to his draft status) and dominate.

Why must the pick end up having the underlined?

Do you think the likes of Gobert and Adebayo have that?

Excellent point. I'm all about team players. I'm not about players who think they have to be "THE MAN". Iso ball is proven loser ball.

Jalen Green reminds me of those two, offensively anyway.

Jordan always played team ball. Lakers won despite Kobe always having to be "The Man".

I fell in love with Cunningham...seems to me that Suggs and Cunningham could be like the dtaft class Doncic / Trae Young...Am I wrong?

Green seems to me simply a shooter...a nice and smooth shooter but only a shooter...

Cunningham is more all around player...with also vision amd High IQ... According to me Suggs is a little bit less Cunningham about secondary skills but is an elite prospect..

Dlo Cunningham Edwards XXXX Towns

Could be something good!

I think there is less risk with drafting Suggs but far more upside to Cunningham. I watched some video on Green and I agree with your assessment of him. He’s very athletic, has a great release on his shot and could be an elite scorer but I saw very little else to his game. Granted, it was G-League action so I take that with a grain of salt.

I agree that Jalen Green is not the playmaker that Cunningham, Suggs, and Lamelo are (right now anyway)
However shouldn’t being an elite level athlete with potential to be an elite level shooter as well , be prized in this NBA?
You can always get lower level athletes who are proven as playmakers with high basketball-iq in free agency.

If Green turns out to be an elite level shooter in the NBA then sign me up. This issue would be if he never becomes that type of scorer, what else can he do? That’s why I think Suggs would be the safest pick. With that said, it seems all four of the top guys could turn our fantastic, Green certainly included in that mix.

I’ve only watched 7-8 games of Mobley. What current NBA player would you compare him to?

Base on the ongoing strengths of what Mobley has. He feels similar to Wendell Carter Jr. And the Bulls just traded him a few weeks back. Does that comparison makes sense?

I've watched exactly zero games of Mobley. From what I hear he's a Horford type. I just posted what I posted to troll Neeva and his IMO ridiculous thing about guards and SFs having greater trade value down the road.

I think the best comp is Chris Bosh coming out of Ga Tech.

If we nab him, my hope would be he turns out like Jaren Jackson Jr. JJ weighed in at 236 lbs coming into the draft, he's up to 242 as of now. Mobley weighs 215. That's 20 lbs lighter than JJ BUT if he can put on natural weight I could see him getting up around 230. They both are 7-0 with 7-4 wingspans. The problem is that until Mobley puts on the needed weight, he's going to disappoint the crowd who wants a physical presence next to Towns. That being said with his quickness and length, he should be able to pull of a variety of converages against pick and rolls, which is such a big part of defense in today's league. His passing is legit. He won't be getting any post ups, but he'll be a good play-maker on the short roll p/r action, and will be a lob threat too, which is something we don't have. I'm confident he'll develop into a solid 3 point shooter, his shot looks really good. His 68.6 ft% worries me a bit though, as college ft% is a good indicator of future 3 point shooting in the pros.

If we nabbed Mobley I still think we should go after a vet free agent who can provide some physicality in the front court (or maybe via trade). Yes I'm a broken record, but Daniel Theis would be perfect in that role...

Cade Cunningham reminds me of Jason Tatum, though I suspect Tatum might be a little longer. I think it's much easier to find comps for Cunningham than it is Mobley. A skilled, well-rounded and defensive-minded big seems to be a rarity in today's NBA.

Probably so, but won’t last long. Magic will take that crown with a younger group and tank 2022 1st. Towns will age out of 25 and younger too.

Isaac
Fultz
Okeke
Anthony
Hampton
WCJ
Bamba
2021 Top 3
2021 Bulls 1st (currently #10)
2022 Tank 1st
Plus 2x 2023 1sts

Cavs, Thunder and Pelicans have impressive youth list too.

Mobley seems a little bit of a throwback PF in the mold of KG, Bosh and Rasheed Wallace.

I like Cunningham. Good shot-maker, passer, and has some size.
