If everything dropped perfectly, we could end up in a three way tie at 42-40 with LAC and GSW, and we have the tie-breaker over both of them. We also hold the tie-breaker over LAL, and will hold it over NOP if we beat them on Game 82.

Now, to show you how unlikely this is, we need to win our last two, LAC and GSW need to lose their last pair (and each plays POR once), and the Lakers will have to lose one to either PHX or Utah. So, extremely unlikely, but this year is so weird. I was surprised the fifth seed was still technically on the table.

There's always give and take. Like, I know everyone talks about if we had beaten the bottom 5 teams more...but what if we did that but it was canceled out by losing tiebreakers to some of these teams we're in the hunt with.

That's true. I still feel really bitter about that Protland loss in particular and a couple of other recent losses but we have also done enough to put ourselves in such a close position. I'm just tired our team never being able to get over whatever hump but we have done some really good work, got some really huge wins too. Can't lose sight of that I just wish we did it decisively.

Yes, it's not always about the averages. There are times you need to seize the moment. We had two of those last week and we fail twice. The POR game was like the worse upset in the last 30 years.

Looks like Dallas is dropping out with premature tanking. Bulls has no incentive to win either. Wonder if NBA could implement a tie and forfeit the game. FanDuel may not like it but would spare the true fans the agony of watching the game.

Twolves host OKC at home for play-in is the most likely scenario

Most likely? Not sure I agree.

NOP are making every shots. TM3 is playing great with 31 pts. Nance Jr. is giving them a little of everything. Sunday's game is going to be tough.

Do you think Wolves going to move up or DAL is going to make the play in? Kidd is a better coach that Billups and they got Minnesota native McKinney Wright in the game to ensure the out come.

I know people have been conditioned to expect the worst, but I do believe we will win Saturday which makes the finale matter big time for seeding, and honestly, big pressure moments like Game 82 would be are where the team has had some of its best games of the season.

I hope you are right. You were almost right already with how crazy the DAL game ended. It's hard to be a Mavericks fan. I am switching back to Twolves fan... maybe not....

Pelicans are really dangerous, I don't know how they lost 10 freaking straight games but those guys can flat out ball and they have big heart.

What the F? Suns resting all their starters against the full squad Lakers. This is what make the POR and Lakers loss so much worse. Maybe DLo will help us out

But yet...we're only three weeks removed from them losing to the Rockets. It's a weird season.

Reazling this is the worst part of the season to need help from other teams. 40 percent of them are tanking and 30 percent start resting all their starters to prepare for the playoffs. You only got 30 percent still giving a damn. Games 70-78 are way more crucial to make a big push. After that you can coast against a lot of teams.

The Wolves can control their destiny one final time this weekend by winning both games, giving them the #8 seed, meaning they will either play the Clippers or Lakers for #7 in LA. Win that and it's a rematch with the Grizz. Either way, 8 seed is a must so we have 2 chances to get in. I just want this team to get in, I really don't care what seed at this point

Suns were in B2B looking to avoid any injury to our starters.

We are not getting any help to move up. Jazz back to back vs Lakers tomorrow. POR plays back to back LAC and GSW.

If POR pull off the upset on LAC today, it will make things interesting
