I need to see more and I've heard he (Donatas) isn't playing much right now.

DX who saw him recently, said he was still VERY frail, played a little off the bench for his euro team, they didn't run any plays through him. Said he showed some flashes, but from their report he's very raw, and appears to be years away from nba impact.

Also he had a interview out within the year, saying he really needs to hit the gym, and get the man muscles and he's not ready to bang with Euro guys, let alone NBA guys. He sounded very IFFY about putting his name in the 2010 nba draft.

I'm not really sure if he even will enter this draft, based on what i've read about him from sources about him and his own interviews.

I haven't seen much of Favors but after watching Wall last night, even with all his turnovers, unless he get's injured the Wolves would have to take him #1 even with Rubio, Sessions and Flynn in the fold.

I hope Favors is equally impressive because we all know the Wolves aren't getting the #1 pick no matter how crappy we are this year.

I don't think Donatas is a good fit for our team.

I guess there is a slim chance he becomes the next Dirk Nowitzki but the kid is a PF not a C. He'll get pushed around a lot the first two years by almost any starting big in the league and he isn't really a good defender

#1 and #2 you have to go BPA after that there is probably not such a big drop talent-wise and we should then look to acquire the wing with the most upside.

Wesley Johnson can ball....

Fact he has a 42 inch vert, and can stroke the mid range and 3 pt shot is a plus also.

I like the fact he gets a lot of blocked shots also.

Watched Duke again. Kyle Singler is going to make a team in the teens very, very happy. Great passer, NBA range, NBA body, good post game, smart defense, coachable, great attitude. Not your average Duke prospect. He shouldn't have to struggle to be the best player out of that school since Hill.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing last week. I wouldnt mind him at all with the UTAH pick. Obviously it depends what we do earlier on in that draft, but he's a glue guy with some very good skills. And I am probably influenced by our 'triangle' offense and the common whiteness they share, but I see some Luke Walton with Singler.

I wouldnt want him to be the sole wing addition this offseason. But I think if we got rid of Gomes he could replace what gomes does for us. Good guy, high basketball IQ, solid fundamentally, etc.

If we traded Brewer and Gomes, I'd be happy to have Singler as a good role player take their place.

What are people's opinions on Jerome Jordan? I see him projected anywhere from pick 20 to the middle of the 2nd round.

I kinda like him with the Utah pick, he's a legit 7 footer who averages 9 rebounds and 4 blocks a game this year in 26 min. I have to try to see more of him, but does anyone know how his man defense is?

I prefer Keith Benson- C- Oakland to Jerome Jordan.

He can score, rebound and block shots., good free throw shooter too.

Also he went up against Aldrich and more than held his own. Tonight he played at michigan state and had 21 and 11.

He gets it done verse the big schools. A legit 6"11 player. He's rising on some peoples mocks, mid to late 1st.

Why is that? It depends on the draft if we added someone like Turner or Wesley Johnson, than i wouldnt necessarily think we need Singler, but I think at the UTAH pick he would be good value.

I've seen enough Lakers game to know we don't need a player of Luke Walton's caliber on our team.

I think Jordan is better than Benson, but I would pass on both anywhere in the first round. I'm intrigued by the Belorussian guy on Radford -- against Kansas and Duke he has totaled 44-27-5.

Dunno, Benson went head to head with Aldrich and more than held his own, probably got the better of him, and also more than held his own on michigan state, that speaks volumes.

I've noticed on some mocks he's actually in the 20-30 range where Jerome jordan is often early 2nd round.

We'll see, I don't think it's a great center draft, not sure we will find our franchise center via this draft, in fact i'm almost certain we wont.

I'm thinking more about another rotational big who can body up 7 footers (and rebound, unlike Hollins). Doesn't have to become Dwight Howard, although that would be awesome of course.

hotshotscamp, do you actually think we are in need of a franchise center? As long as we keep Jefferson and Love I think all we need is an athletic big who can come in, give energy, play defense, block a couple shots and grab a couple rebounds. Call it a slight upgrade of what Hollins gives us. I especially would like a type like this for when Rubio gets over here for a flurry of sick oops. :)

I'd like a great big man. Jefferson and Love are both PF's. If we could move Jefferson or something or find a Center and keep him I'd be all for it, do a 3 man big rotation.

I still want that guy who can alter shots, block shots, and be a presence in the paint, especially in the coming years if we contend.

How would you guys compare Jordan to Gortat? Is he as mobile and energetic along with having great size or is he more on a lumbering side?
