If PHI feels pressured to trade Ben immediately to avoid the wrath of Klutch, we’d need to include DLo, or everybody needs to wait. We need to send out at least $25.2 mil.

Edit: good news. Prince can be aggregated September 12th. Beverley October 1st. Prince + Beasley = $29.4 mil in outgoing salary.

I doubt it matters. So long as the deal is agreed to the exact timing won’t hold things up.

If the Kings are involved, they are keeping Simmons for themselves.

Realgm has 9/10 as the Taurean Prince date.

If Maxey is truly available, hopefully the Wolves can be involved in a deal where they get him and help Simmons go elsewhere.

I mean, we're supposed to send DLo the other way, idk why everybody is so enamored with keeping him. He's 3rd on my list of who to keep between him, McDaniels and Beasley. If they'd take DLo and 3 firsts, I'm down to do that.

My sense is Morey might not want D-Lo. Whatever we send to the 76ers might just be ammo for a future trade down the line, i.e. Lillard or Beal. In that regard, Morey might actually prefer expiring contracts and draft picks/young players, which might be more desirable to a rebuilding team.

Phl really messed this up. If its true that Rich Paul really doesn't want his clients there...they are essentially being blackballed by one of the most powerful agents in basketball.

As far as Ben Simmons, I wouldn't want him. Seems like too much of a headache, despite his talent in everything other than shooting.

Saw an interesting idea - Pistons as the 3rd team to facilitate. Jerami Grant isn't old by any means, but at 27, he's out of alignment with the rest of their young core. Malik would fit much better age-wise and provide much needed spacing for Cade. For the Sixers, Grant returns to the team that drafted him and is now a borderline all-star caliber talent that is definitely not afraid to shoot. Salary match as appropriate and send picks (within reason) wherever as needed

If players can find a way to leave, then owners need to find a way to pack their bags and be off the hook for the $$$ … this is where pro sports lose credibility

I don't think we are willing to include DLo, so it all works out then. Beasley, Naz, Prince and a 1st. Add Bol and a second first for Maxey.

There are several posters here that feel this way. And even more depending on the asking price.

I'm curious and genuinely asking; why does he seem like too much of a headache?

Philly fans have been down his throat about his offense since his 2nd year and he doesn't feel appreciated. Seems like he wants to get out of a situation that's toxic to him

If you keep Ant-DLo and KAT + Beverly…then I’m open.

Other then that..$40M for a guy who’s a liability in the 4th? Uhhhh

Philly laughs at the scraps we offer. But then again… we traded them butler for a couple of scraps ourselves.
