Let's have fun for the 2 remaining games, try to avoid get swept and season will be a success.

They should still be going for the win. Screw fun.

Anything could happen on an open pass, Dunk plus and one, rotation to open 3.

All the while the clock is ticking. They played it right.

You don't switch your slowfooted 7'2 center onto Luka Doncic at the top of the arc with the game on the line.
You just don't.
It's horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible basketball and the coaching staff NEVER would have wanted them to do that.

I could not have said it better! How in hell do you allow Rudy to defend Luka on the perimeter? I will never understand that one.

Still, their two best players beat the sheet out of our two best players and we lose by 1.

Turnovers in the 4th qtr late have killed us both games. Ant in particular.

Silver lining. Wolves have barely lost both games and led most of the two with their two biggest stars having the two worst games of their careers. If one or both have a good game, not even an awesome game, wolves are up 2-0. Still a lot of basketball to be played

Oh shut up. He's clearly gassed and still dealing with the back injury. His decision making hasn't been great but you are just looking for a scapegoat.

Mavs are playing 10 guys, Wolves playing 8. It has to be fatigue, and Finch needs to listen to his players. Morris can give you five minutes off the bench, it doesn't hurt.

I don't know if it's chemistry. I think it's more about Ant is not a good passer and Gobert is limited on offense. So the focus has been trying to get Gobert working with Ant which is still a work in progress. I feel like they could run some stuff with Kat/Gobert and Kat/Ant. They use a Kat/Gobert double screen last year which could still work once a while. Feels to me is maturity and learning is taking longer.

I want to tell myself that they'd be up 2-0 with just even decent games from KAT and Ant but I don't think they get it going. Team choking hard.

Yep can’t give up but they need to play a lot better on the road and get two wins. I feel bad for target center fans, the team has just sucked at home lately. :banghead:

lol you can’t be serious. I heard on a Dallas radio station that the Wolves are one of the worst clutch teams in the NBA. Keep it close and you’ll beat em. Looks pretty accurate to me. Buncha chokers. And I wouldn’t be so callous if their fans weren’t so unjustifiably arrogant and over-confident.

True, its will be damn hard to win the series at this point but you got to make some kind of adjustment and play better. These games were close, these are not blow outs, we have lost a lot of things on the margins too, a bad turnover here, a missed rebound there, all of that has added up to get us losses in these two games. We have to increase our level of play another notch to win. We aren't beating Dallas at our current level. Shout out to Naz Reid and Jaden who showed up in game 1 and 2. If we were playing better overall this would be a different story.

This might be one of those series where Gobert needs to have his minutes limited. Not because he's playing poorly, but because we need spacers who can pull Lively away from the rim. He's an absolute stud - I wouldn't be surprised if he's in the conversation for best center in the league in a few years. 7'5 wingspan and apparent 40 inch vert. Freak of nature...

I feel like our offense is more reliant on rim penetration than the Mavericks is. Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but it seems like Lively is having a far greater impact on defense than Gobert is... I still think Gobert is an overall better defender than Lively right now, but our offense needs rim penetration more than the Mavs offense does. Luka and Kyrie eat mostly in the mid range and 3.

What is it with these dumba* DAL troll bots. Cuban should upgrade them to Chat-GPT4, at least that would be half amusing.

Win or lose, this team needs to find a younger starting pg and another professional bucket getter.

Rudy defended good. He made that shot over many guys this game.

Like last game it’s the easy lob that did us in.

Love Conley but stretch to end first half and some uncharacteristic stuff was glaring. Wasted great games from Jalen and Naz in games there for the taking. That’s Ant and KAT in big picture and other guys if you want to nit pick the rest,

This is best opportunity to advance to finals and it appears the Wolves are blowing it and I'm not expecting them to even get this far next year. The top of the West will get tougher as Oklahoma City will be able to add talent with their warchest, Denver will bolster their bench, Dallas will be back with a better Lively and Doncic and Kyrie will have another year to build chemistry together. Meanwhile Conley and Gobert are on the wrong side of 30 and we won't be any healthier next offseason.

You are right. You are better than the 73-9 Warriors and the 72-10 Bulls combined. You can't be stopped.

Don't forget Grizzlie maybe back next year too. The west is loaded. We only loss by 4 points in two games. I expect Ant will be better. JMcD maybe better too. If we don't come back this year, we have one more run next year. NAW have some potential. Maybe Connelly could make another good trade.

We had a lot of in and outs in the game. 1 freaking point, but a loss is a loss is a loss is a loss is a loss.

One point? That out of bounds right at the end that should've been a foul. Hard to win when it's 8 on 5. Huge call. :banghead:

Not here to be amusing. Here to spew facts. Sorry those are so maddening for you. Maybe your team is not as good as you thought? I heard all week how easy this was gonna be. We troll bots from Dallas knew the Mavs were pretty damn good but no one from OKC or Minny believed us. How you like us now? But since you have KAT in your name, prob not much.
