Maybe another Justin Patton scenario? We picked him 16 in 2017. Huge bust. Drafted after him:

John Collins
Jarret Allen
Josh Hart
OG Anouby
Derrick White

How can pro management be so stupid. I was all over John Collins or OG Anunoby. Total no-brainer. i'm still shaking my head. Effing Thibs.

Were any of you high on Walter Clayton before the florida ncaa tournament run

Did you just Johnny Flynn WCJ?

Where we those measurements taken?
Euro measurments are also hard to trust.

I'm trying to find something to talk myself down from absolutely hating this pick but have yet to find anything.
This is the definition of a lottery ticket draft pick.

Another inverse silver lining is that now we're going to have to keep Rudy around to mentor this kid.
HOW IS THIS PICK SUPPOSED TO HELP US MOVE PAST OKC?

In the Beringer thread BlackJacMac has a nice scouting report that might get you off the ledge. Vecenie loves him also. I hope that helps.

Honestly they only way I'm going to like this pick is if he develops a jump shot and is good enough to push Rudy Gobert to the bench.
Because watching 3 seasons of basketball with a guy with hands that bad is giving me brain damage and I don't know how much more I can take.

ZERO CHANCE, ZERO, WE WERE THE 6TH SEED GOING INTO THE PLAYOFFS W/O RUDY CARRYING US. is he regressing, yes, but we were play-in all day long if it wasn’t for him.

Damn it. Of course Nets were going to draft 3 PG.

Would've liked Saraf. Not much for guards left though now.

Have to hope Fleming slip to the 2nd round and we're smart enough to pick him.
Probably Reynaud and Kalkbrenner too.

Early run on guards where we have a huge hole and we take the 3rd big off the board.
Maybe we take a big at 31 anyway and leave Beringer in Europe for a year, because honestly bringing him over next year would be a waste of space under the luxury tax.

I wasn't a fan of Liam McNeeley at 17, but ending up with him at 31 (or trading to get him) could be a steal.

I don’t see wolves trading up for him, they might not have to, also Flemming might be there as well.

We were play-in until the last day of the season and it took multiple other teams collapsing to get us to the 6 seed.
And then Rudy went and had the worst playoffs of his entire career.

Nets have a lot of picks obviously, but I love the guys they took. Tons of ball handling.

For all of you WCJ fans Kam Jones is about the same player only bigger and he's still available.

Thiero, Flemming, Penda or Mcneely please. I'll add Tyrese Proctor as a wild card.

Then I wanna sign one of the senior guys who might go undrafted. Nembhard or Mark Sears

3 seasons of bb? You don't grasp just how influential Rudy is on the defensive end. Are you being serious?
