I've only watched those guys twice, but they seem pretty mediocre to me. That is, one of them is always guarded by a guy much smaller than him as so few college teams have two atheletic 7 footers. The combination of them should be more dominant on defense and offense in the college enviroment I think. They aren't bad, but neither is a good top 3 pick.

Randolph is tall and athletic enough for me to take a shot with him. He could probably gaurd a couple centers in the future because he has such a big frame, although he'd need to gain some serious weight right now. I would like to see some video of him if there is any of that online. Where do you watch him Rev?

I am wondering what is it going to take to get another pick in the first round. What do people see as packages or teams willing to part with a later pick. They looked like they dominated the paint to me. Brook doesn't have the superstar potential you'd like with a #3 pick but I still think he's really good. He understands how to play defense and he's capable on offense. I don't think he'll be a go to guy in the NBA but he's a nice 2 way player.
Everyone after the top 2 has their issues in this draft. Deandre Jordan is completely clueless, Eric Gordon is undersized, Thabeet has no offensive skills, Jerryd Bayless really isn't a point guard. Lopez and Mayo are my #3 and #4 guys in the draft.

I'm seriously tempted to have him forth right now (after Beasley/Rose/Mayo). If he gets that team to the final 4 he'll be shooting up into everybody's lotto.

My thoughts exactly. Unless we trade down for a player and a pick swap, Lopez and Mayo are the best options outside of Beasley and Rose. At the very least, Lopez will be a young big who is solid on both sides of the ball and has more room to develop. Mayo would look nice as a sixth man subbing in for both foye and mccants.

Really? How come? I was very impressed with his ball handling and his work around the basket. The only thing that worries me is his low rebounding numbers and I haven't heard anything about his defense.

This is for the wolves, not in general (most noticable by the Rose drop and the lack of Bayless)

I think the wolves need a frontcourt guy. A 3-4-5 type. I think the balance of need as well as what we have in Foye/Shad (hopefully Bassy if he resigns) makes the value of a Rose/Mayo less. If we do not think we are going to resign Bassy then a Mayo could present as more value, but I think the great value is in similar talents at better positions. Ala Beasley/Randolph and to a less extent Lopez and Gallinari.
