We don't need another big. A 3rd big athletic guy to replace hollins would be ok but you can pick up these roll players via draft and FA every year. Who cares.

What we need is:
1) a SG to start at the 2 (2/3) (turner duh)
2) a hybrid 3/4 (hekp!?!?)

#1 exists in this years draft (turner)

#2 we will have to aquire some other way. There are no SF/PF prospects I like this year for such a roll. Maybe Aminu, but he doesn't really have it imo.

I'd like to get Turner. Package up Utah + Cha pick + Sessions in some manner and get my boy earl Clark. That's probably overpaying a bit because the draft is deep this year, but to lazy to consider a real trade that's fair atm

nice team, but if they want to build a consistent long term winner, i still say it's important to have a legit Center, who can alter/block shots and punish people who go inside, create that fear of driving the lane.

I prefer a true center, that's just me.

“They’re such a big team, a long team,” said Wolves forward Al Jefferson, whose 24-point, 13-rebound night was his fifth consecutive double-double. “We’re a small team.”

Guys like Jawai/Hollins don't count.

We need a impact Big, who can actually play above the rim a bit, and shot block. Until then big teams like LA will crush us into oblivion.

You simply get a rotation shotblocking big to play the 4 in the turiaf mold. Varnado this draft, theres a few every year. A guy who can play the 4 when Al & Love are at the 5.

Asides from Turner as our future #1 option on the wing I would like to gamble on the best looking C-prospect available at the Charlotte or Utah pick.

draft Turner, combine other 2 picks to move up and draft Henry or Johnson(we need a good shooter), trade Sessions and Hollins for Gortat ( big, strong, athletic, good defender that will prove that he's not overpaid if given good chunk of PT). Dump Brewer or bury him on the bench.

Flynn36/Ellington12* (Turner handles the ball)
Turner36/Henry12(36)Brewer(only plays when somebody's injured)
Henry24(36)/Gomes24
Jefferson14(34)/Love(34)-sixth man of the year.
Gortat28/Jefferson20(34)

Sign some washed up vets to keep the bench warm.

I hope it's not too complicated.

I'd be ok with this result, although I think we'd have to give up more than the two later picks to move into the top 8 that we'll probably need for Wes Johnson or Xavier Henry.

Hello!

Earl Clark can burn in hell. Ok, that's a little harsh but I don't see any reason to target him.

Yeah that might be a little much for him :) I might trade the UTA pick for him, but I agree with Wormguts, I dont think we need to go all out for this guy.

^piss on Favors...

We get first pick take Wall and **** on everyone else in the league once we trade Sessions/Gomes for a center to block shots...no idea whos available. Then trade Charlotte and Utah picks to move up for Henry.
. We sign Rudy Gay in FA.

Wall/Flynn
Henry/Ellington
Gay/Brewer
Love/??
Al/Hollins

Some free agents we could sign to be a shotblocker actually...Jermaine O'neal, Camby, Ben Wallace,Sean Williams(cheap, potential),Brendan Haywood

Haywood is a good player when he's healthy and Sean Williams would pry be pretty cheap to play some backup pf. thoughts?

I think Favors is an underrated fit. He's got enough length and athleticism to play with Love and Jefferson. It's not ideal, but if he's BPA we could roll with it.

Not saying im interested in trading Al
but if we do.
What do you think about drafting Solomon Alabi hes 7ft1 so hes a tall center not great offensively but has potential and can rebound. Pretty Solid on D
prolly could get him with the Charlotte pick>

Well i guess it wouldnt be that bad with him.
Its just im taking it into consideration if we have Hollins (nice contract could be moved, but i like him)
Al, Love, Pekovic

Seems like it could end in a log jam with Alabi

Hollins isnt a guy you draft around. Hollins is a test run to see what an athletic shot blocking 7ft looks like next to our core bigs.
