Thibs is coaching the number 1 defense in the league. The biggest difference between here and there is that he now has 2 bigs that he rotates that defend and protect the paint.

Just amazing. Can you even fathom that kind of run? Right now a 3 game win streak would have us on cloud 9. A 5 game would like seem like an all-time run. 11!? That is so ridiculous. That's 15 percent of the whole season straight wins.

I was recently looking into their run. Averaging 44 3pt attempts per game this stretch. 53,35,45,44,37,47,39,50,48,41,48

Quin Snyder has boldly gone were Rosas/Ryan only teased about going. Their opponents average 30 or below during that span I believe. Even Warriors who put up 39 3pt attempts against them fell victom to 50 attempts by Utah. Whether it is a three or four man combination of Clarkson, Bojan, Oneale, Ingles, Mitchell or Conley, each are putting up double figure attempts at 3. It's got to be around 50 pts a night off threes.

As an aside, would it be possible to just put in your post the streak was about Utah and then provide the twitter link if we want to know more about it?

I don't understand what you mean by your last sentence. Did you think it was about the wolves?

I didn't know who it was about obviously. So I'm forced to a differnt site just to find out the team name. If you wanted to tell us about Utah's achievements just say so in the post and then if we want more we'll jump to twitter. Why keep it a secret? Are you paid to deliver inbound outbound movement?

Ah weird. For me the tweet shows up in the post, it's clear it's about Utah. I guess you just see a link, that's not how it appears for me but I can see why there is confusion if that's the case.

Everyone keeps saying Wiggins is fixed. He's the same guy man. He was never trash but he's much more suited as a 3rd/4th option role guy. He's playing with way better players and getting less attention. It's funny how people act like he's made this giant leap. That said, I enjoy watching Warriors games. At least I get to see some positivity for a Timberwolf adjacent player.

Wiggins is still hot garbage. LaMello appears to be 5 times the player as a rookie. 3 double doubles, 1 triple double already. Even Dlo has a double double this season. Kat has 4 in 4 games. Wiggins has none of course. ooooh wow Wiggins got two blocks? Who cares. Undrafted players do it all the time. He's a placeholder for a future Warriors trade. He's actually holding their team back right now from what it could be because they don't want to let his value drop an ounce so others can't get any of his minutes. Same as he was here.

Just like Russell isn't trash, he just shouldn't be asked to carry a Western team to the playoffs?

To your point, how many times has Ball recorded two blocks? Twice? Who cares. Undrafted players do it all the time.

I'm not certain of your point with this. But if LaMello has any two block games already he's probably 5 years more advanced than Wiggins.

I really do center my thoughts for great players around these higher collections of double double/triple double games per season. These are players showing multiple ways in which they impact the game at highest levels on a more consistent basis. But even these can lie about the future occasionally. I remember Dieng being able to mount a double double and close to them often enough as a rookie maybe past midseason of that first year. He was really starting to show a higher level early on. Where that guy went the rest of his career, not sure. So LaMello could vanish to average I suppose too. But he's shown so much already.

Wiggins can show us 10 blocks if that's his second offering these days, or 10 rebounds, assists, whatever along with scoring. He has a couple a season, so he can play at that level. He just doesn't bring it very often at all. Like said, none this season and people are claiming he's playing so much better. I don't see it. LaVine has two double doubles so far this season.

LeBron has only one triple double? Guess he just doesn't bring it very often at all.

But he has one only 20 games in doesn't he, along with 8 double doubles. Wiggins, none of either. Look at that list of names. Most of the best players of the league have already shown who they are in this early part of the season. Lebron is also on a stacked team where even stars need to back off to their teammates to make things work more than the average teams do. He being known as one of the more willing to do so over the years.

Warriors have 10 losses already. Seems like plenty of opportunity was there for Wiggins to gear up a couple notches and help them more. Lakers are winnig .727 and Lebron is known for slow season starts.

What in the world is going on with Dallas this season? The Warriors are obliterating them without Wiseman. They only have 9 wins and have looked pretty damn bad. Think about it, they only have 4 more wins than us and we have been atrocious.

I've seen an article talk about how shooting is up across the board in the league. Minnesota averaged 39.7 3-point attempts last year for third in the league. Dallas was second with 41.3 attempts. In total, only five teams were above 37.0 3-point attempts in 2019-20. This year, that number is at nine teams (neither Minnesota or Dallas are above it). Last year, Utah led the league shooting .380 on 3-pointers. This year, six teams are shooting .380 or better.
