The KAT/Gobert thing has to look better though. If it could get to a place where it clicks and we are healthy, I could see that being a problem for Denver.

Jokic has never been able to stop Towns but putting Gordoan on him was a big problem. If we could avoid that more and if Towns could post score on Gordan it would change the equation. Jaden would be a big help too, particularly if his offense was improved. Jokic will go off but that isn't as problmeatic as Jokic getting his teammates to go off. Also if KAT is able to operate and refine his attack he may be able to get Jokic in foul trouble with his drives.

48 minutes a game of Jaden/NAW on Murray would have been awesome too, especially if Ant can do an adequate job of containing MPJ.

Would have been hell for Murrary. I think if we could bombard him on defense, and KAT could really push Jokic with his offense and punish Gordon in the post, it would make the series more interesting. Forcing Jokic to drop 45 ever game (which he pretty much can do if he has to) is a better recipe than letting him get his teammates going. If somehow we could really slow down Murray, it could be crippling.

So I was wrong on how fast could Jordan sold the team but still feel he doesn't want to make the selection at #2 even though he is still supposed to be in charge of the draft.

ANT-Jaden is as good a starting point as any team, but with Gobert-KAT, nope.

And Durant can "guard" KAT and Gobert

Ant on Beal, JMcD on Booker, Towns on KD, Gobert help. We just need to figure out and coordinate defense rotation

Let's see what our final roster looks like before the season starts then I'll be able to better answer this question.

Would love to get DDV, but we might already have a replacement in NAW + Moore

What is going on with the Wizards? Did Trump bought the team? They gave away Beal and Zinger for Tyus Jones + a very late 1st + a few seconds? How long will it take for them to rebuild? We love Jones but that is just too much.

Beal was a unique situation, so not blaming them too much for that, but yeah seems like the goals is to not pay any money and shed all salary.

Looks like the Wizards are pulling a Calinks in NBA 2K. Trade anyone of value, stockpile picks and younger players. Have 2-3 God awful tanking seasons, let young guys develop, draft high and sign the best young guys to long term deals to be your future vets for your new draft picks lol. I approve.

The picks they are getting for their “valuable” assets are crap.

I’m surprised the Wiz couldn’t get more draft compensation for Porzingis, even if he’s on an expiring. Porzingis has had health issues but was really good last year. Not a lot of rim protecting three point shooters out there.

Tyus's shooting splits in playoffs have been awful...teams don't respect him as a shooter and he still shot terribly in playoffs. So not a surprise to see Grizz moving him

To be honest, I think this is a perfect time to tear it down. Every team needs stars to win, but their stars were inferior to most. Right now, there are only a couple teams that are truly tanking, which makes a rebuild much easier, giving them greater access, cheaper, to young players that might be less desires because it might take a few years before they can truly contribute. And the double bonus is that the new CBA might make it especially profitable to take on a bad contract, getting more win-later assets than normal.

With Porzingas injury history, I really struggle to put a value on him. I do think Winger’s direction right now is the correct path for the Wizards.

That is giving new meaning to "Bite the Bullet". Hopping on a jet plane to Seattle super fast.

New trend in NBA, thanks to Jokic ( or Towns :D ) that changed the game: Size matters and Smart is not relevant.

You forgot the part where you cheat to find out who's clearly the best players in the draft

Getting Tyus Jones and #35 for Kristaps Porzingis (and taking on $10.5MM in dead salary) is honestly killer value, given that Porzingis was planning to opt-out otherwise. I have liked both of their trades, even though they are brutal optically.
