Minnesota Timberwolves
There is no other way to put it: the Timberwolves are loaded, and anything less than another appearance at least to the Western Conference finals would be a massive disappointment. Anthony Edwards is a bona fide superstar and should be in the MVP conversation. His teammates, Jaden McDaniels, Naz Reid, and Julius Randle, provide more than enough punch to where they should waltz deep into the playoffs. One concern may be at the point guard position. Mike Conley is 38 years old, so if second-year player Rob Dillingham can take over those reins, the Timberwolves, who were rated in the top 10 in offensive and defensive efficiency, can turn their balanced roster into champions.

I don't agree that any thing less than Western Conference finals would be a massive disappointment. I think a solid regular season +50 wins, good development from TSJ, Dillingham, Clarke + continued growth from Ant, Naz, Jaden and a 2nd round exit too someone like the Nuggets or OKC (in 6-7 games) would be a win... I think in theory I would be okay with this

I get we have an expectation now with the B2b conference finals but I think we have more time with the bulk of this group. I feel like a solid season and continued development is a good thing. Then we can reassess team in the offseason - Maybe get after that starting PG... need a Robin for Ant (batman) which I don't think Randle is

My initial thought is I am willing to accept anything that ends in a postseason loss to Oklahoma City or Denver. That should come in the West semifinals or finals. But then.....should we accept a series loss to Denver when we have beaten them in six straight games and 10 of the last 15? I know they changed a lot, but we have dominated them recently.

Yeah I hear you, I do feel a similar way about Denver. But like you said they have changed a lot, too a point were I think this could be the best team Nuggets have built around Jokic. Better then there championship winning team.

Would love to see Ant dunk on his ass though lol

The Navy guy who sang the Anthem for the OKC/Houston game was freaking out of this world.

I don't think this is Houston's best lineup. I don't know if Smith is dynamic enough to play SF/SG, depending on what you call Durant.

I forgot Jalen Williams is out to start the season....that could dampen their early season. How long will it take to get him back up and running?

To me that sounds like a horrible insult with Fergie. Have you ever heard Jesus as in the Messiah sing? I'm guessing he would be good.

Sengun shooting a potential game winner may have been fouled, but the refs aren't calling that at OKC. We got OT. SGA after a terrible start has 23.
