Cleveland uses its big TPE to facilitate an Iggy to Minny trade, giving Philly 13 mil in 2011 cap savings to go with Wes and Flynn.
Two good ideas.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

TPE can be used by the team to absorb a contract, but they cannot be dealt to another team. Correct?
Could (hypothetically)
Cle
Out-4th pick, TPE (to absorb Iggy)
In- 2nd pick
Philly
Out-Iggy
In-Cap+ minor compensation
MN
Out-2nd
In- 4th and Iggy
So Clev uses the cap to bring in Iggy's contract?
Or could we just cut Clev out and offer Philly a cap friendly situation for Iggy?

I don't want Bogut for his shot creating potential.

No. Not even close. Andy and 4 for Darko and 2 is decently close. Johnson and Randolph or Tolliver, on the other hand, is worth quite a bit more than Varejao (think Iguodala), so your deal is basically giving up value on our end just to move back two spaces in the draft. Not going to happen.
mg wrote:This is basically a two man draft (although I personally like the long term potential of Knight). Assuming Williams is the one who falls to #2, then Kahn has to take him regardless of other players on the roster in the same way OKC selected Green after they had already picked Durant because they felt Green was the BPA. If Kahn trades the pick he better get a boatload in return or is going to look really bad.
If he takes scraps from Utah and drafts someone like Kanter who hasn't played in a competitive league in 2 years then he probably deserves to be fired.
Stuart in Philadephia:
Jonathan, is Biyombo NBA-ready, i.e. will he be able to start on opening night (whenever that is)? If not, how close is he?
Jonathan Givony:
I think he's more ready than any of the other big men in this draft (http://www.draftexpress.com/rankings/2011-Big-Men/), except for maybe Marcus Morris.

From the Hoops Summit game he is 6'9" in shoes, 243lbs, with a 7'7" wingspan and 9'3" standing reach.

You think Biyombo's going #1?

Dwight Howard - 6'10.25" in shoes, 7'4.5" wingspan, 9'3.5" standing reach
Andrew Bogut - 7'0.25" in shoes, 7'3" wingspan, 9'2.5" standing reach
Joakim Noah - 7'0" in shoes, 7'1.25" wingspan, 8'10,5" standing reach
Deandre Jordan - 6'11" in shoes, 7'6" wingspan, 9'5.5" standing reach
Javale McGee - 7'0" in shoes, 7'6" wingspan, 9'6.5" standing reach
obviously what he lacks in height, he more then makes up for in his long arms, and his athleticism. Plus the fact that he's only 18, so like Dwight Howard he could still grow a little bit more.
