That hit on Ricky Rubio was disgusting and dangerous; Jimmy Butler not only condoning the behaviour (but rather ENDORSING it) is equally gross, and strongly disappoints me as a fan.
Are you going to tell me that I am against Jimmy Butler after my extensive post history supporting him? All because I find him to be a phenomenal basketball player in no way means I am going to say "yeah, you get them, guys!" What is going on here is **** absurd, and my post history showcases my consistency on dirty plays like that (my only official RealGM warning is because of me unloading about Draymond Green on the General Board).
If this is a gross hit, it means you are probably just soft,

2 things to say
1. Teagues truck on Rubio was a reaction to all the hate he’s received all season. He clearly wanted a win tonight and clearly wanted to kick rubios a$$ on offense. The jazz got like 90% of their calls at the rim and Teague wanted his foul before the truck. With that said it wasn’t more than a 50-50 call. The ref was fine in not calling it, but I’m sure in teagues mind it should have been a foul. And then all his twitter and IG mentions crosses his mind and he has a moment. Atleast he went out with some fire.
2. This is a great moment for all Minnesota fans. I think all year it’s been pretty clear the fans have been split down the middle. The new era (push for playoffs. Thibs. Teague. Jimmy) and the old era (tank. Zach. Ricky. Saunders). This should really force people to be more open about what side they are. Jimmy on twitter said to Jae crowder “get away from MY coach” and someone said Rubio is more Minnesota then jimmy. So I guess the question now is what side are you on? Hopefully this will encourage fans to be MORE FANS of this team and less fans of the previous era.
I’m glad it went down this way. Wanted a win but losing Kat was a tough strike. Time to fight and lock up a playoff spot. How the team responds to tonight’s game will tell us a lot about everyone’s character. Kat and Wiggins especially.
So a cheap-shot flagrant foul is supposed to win me over to the Jeff Teague side?
I think Rubio wearing a Jazz jersey and Teague wearing a Timberwolves jersey should win you over to the Jeff Teague side, I mean if you're a Minnesota fan.
I mean, i'm obviously cheering for the Wolves to win but i'm not going to pretend that Teague is a likable person or that i enjoy watching him play basketball. He's the worst.

People are reacting like Teague threw a punch or drop kicked Rubio in the head, was the play dirtt yes, but basketball is a contact sport, damn fans getting soft, watch the bad boy Pistons games, the 90s Knicks games, these type of plays happened all the time, people getting butthurt over nothing, Rubio got up like a millisecond after he hit the floor.

Jeff Teague decked a dude at full sprint for no legitimate reason, this whole "Minnesotans defending Ricky" twist to the situation is pretty dumb given the context of the situation.
And for the record.... yes. I was cheering for Minnesota to win the game tonight, obviously.

"Decked a dude" is hyperbole, Teague basically ran up and pushed Rubio to the floor don't act like he went out and clotheslined him to the ground, reason he did it was obvious, he was frustrated with the refs all game, he thought he got hacked by Rubio on the play before when he drove to the basket.

we were on the bad end of alot of calls, but kat and teague really put the final nail in the coffin with their immaturity in a very important and winnable game.
I'm pissed at the refs, but more disappointed in kat and teague.

Did Towns deserve either technical?

Like this being a gross hit compared to the actually dirty stuff we see from Zaza, and Draymond... give me a break.

1st on is complete nonsense. Second one would be understandable as your warning tech, not you’re out of the game tech.

In my opinion, no. I could understand the second one if he did not already have a bogus one called on him beforehand.

Take out the fact that Rubio was on the receiving end and it's still a classless dirty play that has no place in the game.
Teague lost his cool and body checked a player on the sideline where he could have gotten hurt on the chairs lining the court. I'll root for Teague to succeed as long as he wears a Wolves uniform, but I don't have to nor will I condone what he did.

Honestly thought the 1st Tech was incidental, Crowder hooked Towns arm which caused the hit to his face, Second Tech is prolly due to Towns already well known rep for yapping to officials about every call, just bad timing

Lets not forget that Teague did a similar thing to Lebron when the game was lost in the last minute of the game. Dude seems like a punk and a **** loser.
And why is Butler acting like a tough guy now? I remember Nene making him look like a school boy where he couldn't do anything, and had his life flash before his eyes.

What? Butler went head to head with Nene and never backed down even though he's 30lbs lighter and 4" shorter than the dude, Jimmy backs down from no one, don't know what you saw but I'll take Jimmy over 99% of NBA players to have my back

Seriously: I love Rubio like nobody else...I am fan since Barcellona...and I was so exciting when He came in Minnie...
but men...despite my immense love I am not his widow...we are talking about a player that played a lot of time here but He never grew up as expected...and sincerely I can t understand this veneration towards him....we are not Mavs fan talking about Dirk, men...or we didn t lose Kidd or Magic o A.I....thats the point...and for me to read on twitter phrases against butler about the love towards him that is less than that for ricky we will always be anchored to mediocrity....
That being said, Jeff was wrong...

Rubio 6 years in Minnesota has nothing to do with the fact that Jimmy comeback 2 years later of his last tweet to defend a dirty play by Jeff Teague on Rubio.

I love Jimmy Butler, but I agree; the Tweet lacks class.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
