C Towns
PF Mobley
SF McDaniels
SG Edwards
PG Russell

That’s a long lineup with real defensive potential. I’d hate to miss out on the 2022 Draft but adding Mobley this year would really ease that pain, especially if we make the playoffs next year and our pick is not in the Lottery.

If Russell can stay healthy and play at a level similar to after the ASG, only giving up a pick in the 14-18 range in 2022 would swing the Wiggins trade firmly back in our advantage.

When do we find out our pick or lack of one?
Not until June 22nd. Way too long to wait. This should have already been done.

I'm hoping we get both of the Champagnie brothers. Both guys should be mid first rounders in my opinion.

Mobley is a big. He will obviously lose his value very quickly. :o

He is really soft and disappears offensively so probably just like your boy Wiseman.

He is infinitely better than Wiseman. His BBIQ on both ends are worlds better.

If we get Mobley I will be quite happy. I'm still not convinced that Wiseman won't be a very good player.

There are a lot of reasons why the draft order isn’t established before the season ends.

Btw, you still think Holiday > Paul this year as you did before the season started?

They both had good seasons as far as I can tell. Given a choice between them I would without question go with Holiday. I just feel Paul is living on borrowed time.

Huh. Paul’s team is the one that just swept their opponent and the Bucks are down. Good luck with Holiday about to take the rest of the season off. Weird! ;)

Thinktank this kind of thinking is completely illogical. Since Paul's team is doing better he must be the better player to have now and for the future? That absolutely doesn't follow.

You’re just moving the goalposts now.

Your original claim was that Holiday would have a better season than Paul, but Paul was in the MVP conversation, not Holiday.

Be honest. Paul had a better season that led to more wins, and Paul is also having a better postseason.

That could be true. I haven't been paying attention. No goalpost moving intended. I expected Holiday to have a better season than Paul due to my belief that Paul is super close to being done due to his bone on bone knees. I'm shocked he's still playing at a high level. However, given my choice between the two I would without question prefer to have Holiday.

Thank you for admitting you may have been wrong about Holiday having a better season than Paul this year. Cripes. Why even make a prediction if you won’t readily face up to it later?

No problem. I love Chris Paul's game. I just have very little faith in him continuing. I'm honestly shocked he's still playing at a high level due to his bone on bone knees.

That’s fine. WE were never talking about that. :)
