Yeah its absolutely head scratching. There were like at least 5 1st round caliber guys on the board. And we took a 2nd rounder in the first. Not to mention the little bit of extra cap space that goes to the higher pick. Maybe he thinks moore will be our Gary Harris.

The ESPN guys like Moore a lot. Complete package player. Offense/Defense and great passer.

I am not too concerned about those SRPs tbh. SRPs are overrated

This moves so fast. I cant keep up lol.

To be fair, at one point Woj and Shams seemed to be getting confused. If they can't keep on top of this crap what hope do us mere mortals have?

And we're still on track for my Ryan Rollins at 40 prediction.

Just sayin'.

From couple of mock drafts -

Moore developed well in his three years at Duke and ultimately established himself as a high-level wing who can guard multiple positions and reliably make 3-pointers. He's the type of prospect Miami (and most well-run franchises) value.

A good shooter and potential all around player who could be another fit with their dynamic young group. Ja likes shooters and runners.

Really? He's might be the best defender in the draft.

We're sending 3 SRPs in the two deals. Don't know if we keep any of them this year or not.

Moore is basically exactly what you're looking for around Ant. Good defender, great passer and can make some moves offensively both off the bounce and off the catch.

I like moore. Decent and versatile defender. Can dribble, pass and shoot decently. Not a star but likely a decent rotation player.

I still think he would have been available at 29.

Oddly tankathon had Moore at 26 in their final mock.

I like all around players like that. We have become a better defensive team.

I mean if anyone can get him to play defence it's them but still, I think he's irreparable on that end so I'm not worried.

Not a fan of the draft so far. Reaching for players either where there are similar alternatives available later or just reaching for that player in general. Moore mostly had a 2nd round grade

I don't follow college basketball and didn't follow the pre-draft process this year...so I don't have a clue about most of these prospects
