Sounds about right. I suppose Westbrook will move back into the starting lineup.

I wonder if he can hit an open 3pt shot consistently. If we can sign him it will incredibly entertaining to see him, Minott and TSJ running in transition. Still need a movement shooter though.

My biggest issue with the Smith Jr is if he would accept being the third point guard. I really wanted him until he drafted Dilly.

Nwora would be a great fit...also like Osman or Hayward out of that group

If wolves don’t get someone today I will be a little suspicious and think that they really might be working on a trade that will bring more players than they send.

I remember one tweet that Nwora went on fire this season. His shooting numbers overall are not that impressive, but I can imagine him becoming the best shooter from this group simply because he is young and can still improve.

It is domino effect. PG13 => Klay => Melton => DJJ. Once dust settles team will take decision on minimum contracts, The only one signing I was surprised to see was Delon Wright. I really dont understand why he left MIA for MIL. In MIL there is a void at SG and backup PG, but I am not sure if as team it is better than MIA.

Good question. Especially if Finch decides to go with NAW as backup PG as well. But on other hand MIN is a deep playoff team built around defensive identity. There is a big risk that NAW will leave next offseason, and Conley is getting older, and probably will miss some games with load management. Someone like Smith could use this opportunity to revive his career and sign a big contract next summer. Just like Gary Payton II did with GSW.

I believe, statistically speaking, his shooting was down a little last year. Career 37% from 3. He's just a 6'8 microwave scorer off the bench. If you can get him cheap...

I wonder if he can hit an open 3pt shot consistently. If we can sign him it will incredibly entertaining to see him, Minott and TSJ running in transition. Still need a movement shooter though.

He's a career sub 30% 3pt shooter and below 70% FT shooter.

He shoots 31% from 3-10. 29% from 10-16 and 32% from 16 to the arc.

The last 2 years 90% of his 3s have been assisted and he hit only 22 and 29%.

There is no shot he can hit consistently.

I do like his defense, so we could do worse for a 3rd PG. But he's a disaster on offense.

Covington had his season derailed by a knee bone bruise, would think he'd be healthy to go
his past his prime but still would be best defender

I think his family didn't like MN though

He did poorly after getting traded to Knicks, but I've liked Alec Burks as a ball handling big guard who has been good shooter last few years

Monte Morris has agreed to sign with the Phoenix Suns. Morris will help the Suns shore up the point guard position, which was their biggest area of weakness in 23-24.

In 33 games last season with the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves, Morris averaged 5.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 14.4 minutes.
Morris is represented by Ron Shade and Alex Saratsis
