It's higher given the guy is 7'1" with a 7'2.75" wingspan.

Luwawu seems to me like the kind of guy that Thibs could really mold into a Jimmy Butler like player. With his physical traits, solid D and pretty good outside shot I certainly wouldn't be upset if Thibs feels he's the best fit for us at 5-6. I'm as high on Zach as anyone but a three man wing rotation of Zach-Wiggy-Luwawu could be pretty special and could open the door to a Bazz trade in advance of his free agency.

Listened to a bunch of interview that happen last night. Dunn and J. Brown were impressive with how well spoken they were. D. Davis however sounds like the lights are on but nobody's home. Not the be all end all but after how towns conducted himself I'm always more intrigued by players who sound and act smart and can give you clear explanations.

On the flip side I am a big fan of Wiggins and he doesn't give you much...but he's getting better.

well, if a big head contributes a lot to a guys height and broader shoulders contribute extra inches to the wingspan then maybe the guy isn't that long after all. Even DX earlier noted that he doesn't have great length relative to his height.

If you look at measurements, standing reach seems to have a lot of variability. If you look at the measurements DX has for Ben Simmons, twice he was measured for standing reach and the 2 numbers were 5 inches apart.

I don't remember anyone mentioning Bentil but it sounds like he could be a trade-down target.
Among them is Providence sophomore Ben Bentil, a 6-8 forward who declared for the June 23 draft but will keep his name in consideration for it only if he believes he will be a first-round pick. Bentil averaged 21.1 points and 7.7 rebounds last season.

Bentil said Thursday that he and others considering their draft possibilities worked out for Thibodeau and Layden last week at the team’s Mayo Clinic Square practice facility. He said he interviewed with the Wolves both in Minneapolis last week and Chicago this week.

Bentil and the new Wolves coach apparently hit it off.

“I see myself as a defensive player,” Bentil said, “and he’s a defensive coach.”

Also, a little insight into what Thibs is looking for...
It’s no surprise that Bentil said Thibodeau seeks players who are mentally strong.

“They just want to learn if you’re a mature player, if you’re a player who’s ready and willing to work,” Bentil said. “That fits into their organization. That’s what he talked about a lot. He just said you’ve got to be mentally tough. When he’s talking to you and things are not going your way, how are you going to take it? But he’s a coach. That’s every coach’s mentality.”

That would be a pretty large trade down. He's currently mocked on DX at 52.

I think Bentil could fit perfectly here. He is a though defender, short bit quick and has range to the 3pt line. Obviously he would be involved in some trade but pick him along another young-veteran piece in exchange for the 5th could mean playoffs next season.

Maybe another trade to pick up a 2nd rounder or late first? Thibs seems to have some interest.

I'd be thrilled with Bentil anywhere in the second round if we don't take a PF with our lottery pick.

Second-round picks could once be had for pennies on the dollar, but those days are long gone, multiple NBA executives in Chicago told The Vertical. Second-round picks are now at such a premium that it's likely we'll see some sold on draft night for the maximum amount allowed, $3.4 million dollars. It's a creative way for big-market teams such as New York and Brooklyn to find their way into the draft.

Last year the most that was paid for a pick was $1.5 million, when the Knicks purchased the No. 35 draft pick from Philadelphia to select Willy Hernangomez, and Portland acquired the rights to Daniel Diez (No. 54 from Utah). The Knicks also paid Indiana $1.5 million for the draft pick they used to select Louis Labeyrie at No. 57. The most ever paid for a second-round pick is $3 million, which Oklahoma City paid Atlanta to acquire 31st overall pick Tibor Pleiss in 2010.

This draft's dollar amounts might put previous years to shame as the entire financial model of the NBA continues to shift with the new TV money about to roll in.

I was questioning why Bentil wasn't a top 10 pick at one point a few months ago.

I knew someone here was, just couldn't remember who. Still, don't see a way he climbs that high.

He's shy, but when he can relate to something he lights up and speaks more fluently. Some guys are like that. Kid speaks strongly of his shooting game even though Mich. St. didn't want him shooting much. Says he compares himself to Chris Bosh. Maybe he comes in and shoot like Karl. :D He also loves to defend.

Ben Bentil will go in the late first round, in my opinion.

Found a full length game of Dragan Bender and he played pretty well in it. Had 18 points, 11 boards and 4 blocks. It is from the 2014 U18 tournament so almost from two summers ago and a lot has changed since then of course. He was 16 playing against mostly 17 year olds in this game.

34 and 14 for Bender in this game. Sabonis also played too.

My personal Draft is...

Ingram (according to me he is the real crack of this draft)
Simmons
Bender
Hield (he seems to me a real machine gun)
Dunn (ready for a pg role more than Tyus Jones was)

I also like Murray but i saw some videos and seems to me he is overrated for NBA level...what is your list? I m very excited for 17th of May!!! Hope to move up for a time!
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

Zelimir Obradovic, talking about Dejan Bodiroga
