If you like a player, you don’t let seconds get in the way of securing them.

Expensive.

This moves so fast. I cant keep up lol.

To be fair, at one point Woj and Shams seemed to be getting confused. If they can't keep on top of this crap what hope do us mere mortals have?

This is an unbelievable success for MN to get this guy. Wow. We have a front office.

One thing to note is that Kessler and Moore are a bit older and should be able to contribute a lot quicker than a 18-19 year old.

He was considered a first rounder in most of the sites I checked.

Wendell Moore looks like a fantastic pick. Just weird to trade up 3 spots for him.

yeah. SRPs are bit overrated anyways. Especially if they are not in 30's.

How about one more trade to get Liddell.

I do enjoy how much of an expert everyone becomes at this point of the year. For whatever warts Connelly has displayed as a GM during his career, he's been a pretty good drafter. I'm going to hold fire before crucifying him for leaving other prospects that some may like more on the board given his record at Denver.

I myself am definitely no draft expert. And whilst everything I've read suggests that Kessler is a bit of reach where we took him, he does possess a number of attributes that we sorely lack as a team. Moore seems like an excellent complimentary piece to what we currently have. I honestly believe that in the NBA you can almost never have too many guys of that profile; versatile, good defense, good passing and solid shooting.

I'm really liking the draft. I'm hoping we still have 2 2nd rounders left LOL. Well at least one.

I checked couple of mock drafts and Moore was projected to be picked at 26, 29. So I don't really think it's a reach. Maybe they paid 1 SRP too many to move up but SRPs value is overrated anyways, especially if they are in 40's or 50's

Looking highly likely Russell remains a member of the Wolves.

I havent seen footage of Kessler much, but seen alot of Wendell Moore last weeks. And both fit the the type of experienced older high floor low ceiling rookies that are more ready to contribute. The kind that the Grizzlies roster are packed with and who I usually envied.

Nuggets, Heat and Spurs tend to make these kind of selections too.

Didn't realize we traded for Moore. I like him a lot. Think he could be a Brogdon type if he continues to develop and turn into a PG. Nice fit next to Ant.

Yup--I say the same thing for Memphis. If the guy they took at #19 is in their top 10 or 15, you always trade #22 and #29 for #15 or #10.

Every team has a different board and once the draft starts, its all about navigating the draft to get your guys but also maximizing the value.

The Wolves trades #19 and 3 seconds for #22 and #26. Thats amazing.

Brogdon 2.0? I'm good with that.
