Even that is a trap. Look at the Lakers, they might miss the play in. Also, people might underestimate the value of home court, but we have seen that upsets happen. Teams should seek any advantage they can get.

Dunno what’s worse…6 game losing streak(which we were used to as wolves fans)…or getting swept by Orlando

Denver beat Charlotte and Lebron hurt his ankle last night (Denver plays the Lakers on the 3rd and the 10th.) Bad, bad, bad 48 hours for the Wolves.

That is the one bright spot. But remember, after missing that much time he will be minute restricted and probably out of rhythm. The one good thing about Lebron missing time is it will make the Lakers desperate to win. They are already on the brink of falling out of the play in, and this weeks schedule is no joke for them. @ Mavs and Jazz then home to Pels and Nuggets. I think the Spurs are 70-30 to take 10 and bump the Lakers out of the postseason completely.

I mean it’s looking like we have to go 5-1 at worst to take the 6 seed. The good news is that the last 4 games are against beatable teams for us with Rockets/Wizards/Spurs and the reeling Bulls.

A home run scenario is if The Mavericks take the 3 seed, and we finish 6th to fake Luka round 1.

That's becoming more & more realistic by the day....& that really gives us our best chance of getting back into the 6th spot conversation....first, we of course need to handle business, but then we probably need some help from a very desperate Lakers team that wants to avoid the embarrassment of missing even the play in & they can take Denver out at least 1 out of the 2?

I have been saying 48 wins is the number. Assumed in that is we beat the remaining sub .500s and Denver. If we win those 4 we only need 1 of 2 against the Raptors and Bulls. But, if we win out, then all we need is Memphis to beat Denver and we are 6. Interestingly, the Warriors are 1-5 in their last 6. At 28 losses with 6 games left to play and all but one being against play off or play in teams, mostly on back to backs, it is possible they lose 5 or 6 without Curry.

No Lebron, no AD, 30 points down, I am calling this one. As of tonight Lakers are the 11 seed looking up at the Spurs who have the tie breaker. Extra pressure for them to try and win at least one against Denver.

I just noticed UTA has lost 4 straight.

We are 2 games behind DEN, and 2.5 games behind the Jazz.

We might have a chance at catching Utah for 6 if we finish the season strong..they still have to play Memphis and Phoenix

Utah has GSW without Curry, the Thunder without SGA, Giddy, Dort, and half the rotation, and the Trailblazers without basically everyone. Not only would we need to win out, but the Jazz would need to drop one of the above.
