Excellent news. Finch has proven himself to be a top tier coach who can succeed on both sides of the ball while maintaining the respect and admiration of his team. Great coach, glad he's here, glad he's staying here.

I don't know if that is good news. I like him in some ways but certainly not sold on some of the strategies and still waiting for the offensive genius to come out.

Good news. Players love Finchy and I love him too. I’m sure he will find a way to improve with the players . We have a great coach.

Well, you're free to go for offensive geniuses Ryan Saunders or Kurt Rambis if that makes you feel better...

Love this news.

The guys want to play for him and his track record speaks for itself. He and his staff have earned this. I would assume extensions for them are in the works too.

One thing I would like to see him improve on are his inbound sets. It's maddening watching other teams get easy buckets time after time while we never get anything easy on the inbound. Don't know if Chris can work on that or if it'd be easier to put an assistant on it, but either way.... Hop to it boys.

inbounds when we are at our basket or the opponents basket?

Our basket or our sideline after a stoppage.

Not sure what else what you want from a coach then what Finch has done since he took over.

Probably how badly he was outcoached by Kidd in the finals. Lets hope that was an aberration.

That happens sometimes. Do you think it was by pure luck that they got there?

The Spurs were once swept in the Western Conference Finals, and they had home-court advantage and finished with the best regular season record in the league, in his fourth full season as coach. Would fans be right if they were not sold on Gregg Popovich?

Less stubbornness and learning from mistakes.

I hate these cherry pick takes. "That happens sometimes" so people should just except Finch because he's been the best we've had so far? Why not want more? This love for someone who's not shown to be someone who can get the best out of the players and also couch at a high level when it matters is wild.

The Spurs met the Lakers and coaching wasn't their issue. But if it was the coaching then pop should have felt the heat too.

I'm not willing to let Stockholm set in like many here. I want the best out of the players and trim the fat (Towns, Josh, Moore) when players and staff aren't ready or willing to play like Champions.

Look at how he adjusted with Rudy from year one to year 2

Yeah, that has nothing to do with Rudy just being more comfortable or being fully healthy or the other guys having more comfort with him. It was all Finch /s

You don’t think coaches put their players in position to be comfortable?

People thought the double big would never work, Finch made it work. Do the players get credit too? Absolutely. Finch also gets a huge chunk of the credit as well
