We would have won with or without Ricky.

The thing with Jeff Teague is that he'll cost more with providing less or the same impact as Ricky.

You gotta go for Lowry at this point, Teague is a lateral move

Wrong, the love affair for Ricky Rubio blinds you from accepting the truth. The league currently requires point guards that can score.

That's 1-8 in the west coast conference. No matter how much you love Ricky Rubio the man is completely in over his head in the west and won't take this team to the championship level/conversation.

Now you guys will get to see what a real point guard looks like. No more hype, no more analytics, no more narrative, no more lies..... its time to win!

No proper reports but this is one of the few teams I think signing Lowry would be a good idea. I think the fit would be great and the effort level of a butler Lowry duo would be amazing.

Would really like to see this. Good luck.

Yeah, most of us are fine if Lowry is coming but Teague? IDK about that.

Or watch the next point guard collapse in a pile of his own making when our offense stays exactly the same as it did last year.

If its Lowry, wonderful

Anyone else, wait out the market. Terrible for PGs

Having a 4 year deal with Teague at 1201 AM is Laker's-Mosgov level misreading of market

By making this move, I would hope we have enough money to sign a great PG and JJ Redick but I doubt we can get both.

You can acquire a lesser PG then Rubio and still have it be a better fit for the team. Butler is a solid distributor which would mean more off ball play for the PG, something Rubio isn't good at.

Minnesota could actually sign Rondo for probably very little for a starter or depth then the Wolves could go all in trying to acquire a bigtime PF/C to play next to Towns. Rondo brings most of the things Rubio did except Rondo shoots better from 3pt range.

You guys are loyal to a fault... This team won't need some guy who handles the ball a bunch. A 3 point shooting defender is what this team needs at the 1. Not a guy is only effective by getting assists. So happy about this guys, welcome to winning wolves fans!!!!

Man are u serious? This is giving Rubio away, they changed him for nothing and in his prime, he was outplaying almost every PG last year Post All Star. The team had chemistry...
I guess Thibs is risking it all to next year.
I don't like this trade, Ricky do not deserve this

I hope Twolves pick up Lowry now. If the back up plan is teague or Rose (shudder), this is a really bad move.
George Hill would be a decent pick up as he's a better fit with the team.

I like Rubio a lot and think he is a great fit for the wolves prior to butler trade. With that said teague is a better player and better fit for this team. He has proceeded on teams that have made the playoffs. I wish Ricky the best and will be cheering for him.

Yeah the follow up move will give a proper idea how good or bad this trade is. Rubio is was better than Teague though that's pretty clear.

It's not even like Teague is good in rubios areas of weakness so I don't really see any logic in replacing Rubio with Teague.

If Kyle and Butler freeze out Wiggs and Towns, I think I'm done as a Wolves fan, I waited this long to see our talent grown organically, not bought like a bunch of f***** diva's. First Zach, now this. Two of my favorite Wolves gone in a flash.

Zach Lowe almost never tweets rumors, not in the speculation game at all

Just comments on deals that have already gone down

Impossible. I don't even know who will be starting next year but he's already a better shooter then Rubio.

Rubio was never a good fit. With butler and kat who are ball dominant, Rubio makes zero sense what so ever. Thibs is angling for executive of the year. You guys will remember this summer forever
