He hasn't played a regular season minute, but I think there is enough evidence from SL and PreSeason to indicate he would have been a very nice pick for the Wolves at 11. The haters were downright nasty about him acting like he couldn't rebound or play inside at his height and how his inability to shoot the 3 was going to make him a massive liability. There's another rookie that fits that definition very well. Zion Williamson. He's doing ok too.

I really wonder about Zion's impact over the course of the season. Will it be as big as his hype in any shape or form? I'm just not sold. But there is certainly another opening in this league for a net centric strong finisher. Being that he can and will hit 3s when forced to I think he survives and produces enough at minimum. He can be limited by some of NBAs bigs. Won't be the Wolves though.

Zion is the goods. It's not a question of if he averages 20 points a game. It's a question of how much over. I would not be surprised very much if he gets 25 and that will be on very good efficiency as well. He will be one of the league leaders in Stocks also.

Could be. Not enough players willing to do what he likes to do these days. Maybe for increased injury reasons they all avoid it. Which may be a very real danger for Zion. He's seemed a bit fragile out on the ragged edge of explosiveness he weilds. He's going to be bangin with bigger bodies now. I hope he has a long career and helps bring back the awareness of what a high efficiency net game can open up for those around him. I think he's in the 20s based on high foul shots sooner rather than later.

Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic said the team has offered him a maximum contract extension that would pay more than $50 million and keep him in Sacramento for four more years, but he is in no hurry to sign it.

Always liked his game, I wish could trade Wiggins for Bogdanovic, Bogdan seems to be an ideal fit here because of his IQ, shooting ability.

The Kings have an offer for Hield on the table for four years and $90 million, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Hield and his agent, Brandon Rosenthal, are seeking a number closer to $110 million, sources said.

The Kings also have reportedly offered swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic a max extension of four years and $51.4 million. He has until June 30 to sign or become a restricted free agent.

Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics are on similar footing. During the first portion of negotiations, the No. 3 pick in the 2016 draft led his extension talks. But even with history not on Brown’s side, the Celtics have extended the 6-foot-7 swingman an offer of four years and $80 million, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Would love to have Hield here if we can somehow unload Wiggins. Even for 110 mil.

A player to consider throwing a life line to might be Ben McLemore ... we need a shooter. Obviously Hield is a notch above  , but ...

Beal resigns 2-year $72 million :o ... makes it easier for a Wiggins/Dieng deal

If you're talking about wiggins and dieng for Beal our chances just went up from 0.0000001 % to 0.00000011 % chance that they would accept it.

I'm so glad that Thibs and Layden didn't Kahn-up the Towns contract situation. That easily could've been our predicament right now.....

I think the Kings have effed up firing Joerger for Walton. They will certainly eff up if they don't keep Buddy.

I think he will last ten or more seasons, however he could be a Hall of Famer or a huge waste of talent if health issues hold him down. Time will tell.

Zion likely out for weeks.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, a severe injury has been ruled out for Zion Williamson’s right knee, but he is expected to miss a period of weeks to start the regular season.

All things considered, this is good news for New Orleans and fantasy GM's who have drafted Zion. Fans had been holding their breath when word broke Thursday night Williamson was dealing with a knee issue and was having more tests performed. Per Woj, the "Pels are clearly treating the injury with an abundance of caution but there’s no shortage of confidence on full recovery." We'll obviously have to wait and see how the knee responds to rest and rehab. Looking ahead, New Orleans plays five games from Oct. 22 through Oct. 31, but then plays just twice over the first seven days of November.

10 or more? How many will be in rehab? I think he needs to shed weight or not a chance he last past his rookie contract. He just cant play 82 games at that weight. Just my opinion.

That sucks about Zion I really wanted to see him play full NBA games. Happy I didn't draft him though. I have felt the Pelicans were overrated but they do have a nice roster. I'm curious to see where they wind up.
