The way the PG position is stacked for this draft class reminds of the 2009 draft where multiple PGs were drafted and most had a good career:
Ricky Rubio
Jonny Flynn
Stephen Curry
Brandon Jennings
Jrue Holiday
Ty Lawson
Jeff Teague
Darren Collison
Patrick Beverley
Patty Mills
And other lesser known names but have been off the bench contributors like:
Eric Maynor
Rodrigue Beaubois
Toney Douglas
Nick Calathes
A. J. Price
Nando de Colo
Lester Hudson

Cole Anthony is the early prospect for me to watch. Obviously lots can change throughout the season but I like his game.

RJ Hampton looks sick and I hope we draft him as our lead PG

Everyone's gonna be looking at the lead guards (and for good reason), but I'm going to try to focus on the SF/PF types this season. That's the position that's going to be the fulcrum to this team's new playing style, and I think I would rather use our big asset going forward there rather than at PG where we've seen teams get by without exceptional talent there.

After a quick look on Tankathon, a couple names look like they could be intriguing to follow during the season: Precious Achiuwa and Jaden McDaniels. They are on opposite ends of the SF/PF spectrum, but I could see both as interesting fits on this team going forward.

Wiseman who is getting a lot of love from posters here was deemed ineligible for College Hoops.
Something about Penny Hardaway helping his family move to Memphis.

Stinks for college basketball, but unlikely to affect his draft stock. Might actually be good, as he can focus his attention on the draft.

Some pretty competition, but he still looks the part. Would be difficult for me to pass on him.

I would say Jaden is 2-3 years away but so was Giannis

Jaden looks KD lite. Likely his shooting will never be that good but his handle and quickness for such long guy looks sick.

Isaiah Joe is the guy I'd be looking at right now. 6-5 combo guard with an elite shooting stroke seems like a natural fit for what we're trying to run and obviously addresses our glaring need of shooters.

It could be argued that we need a PG, but not necessarily a starter. And Klomp is right about the hole in the starting lineup at the 4/3 3/4 spot. Once again, I would almost prefer getting 2 picks in the teens / early 20's instead of just picking at our normal first and 2nd round spots. Tyrese Maxey is mocked at 28 on nbadraft.net, he'll be a lotto pick when all is said and done, but imagine nabbing Maxey, a combo who can play PG and also nab a SF/PF type who can play tough and also hit the 3?

Tre Jones and Matthew Hurt are a couple guys who are mocked in the late first right now. Could be a couple guys who bring things the Wolves need.

Found a new crush. Junior with a year of prep school, so has that working against him in terms of hype and perceived ceiling. But has a really nice skill set for this system. Currently at 23 on Tankathon.
