When he finally realizes that the fro was the sources of his NBA powers it will be too late. Front office should take action IMO. If I was Glen no corn rows would be written into Wiggin's contract.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Re: Wiggins: "There's not 100 players better than me"
Guess I'll put this here too...
This is a little off topic but remember that magazine with the draft class featuring Wiggins, Parker and Okafor? Those guys were going to help shape the future of the NBA right?
Parker bounced from Mil, Chi, Was, Atl while Okafor was at Philly (which he never wanted to be at) to Bkn and now a third or fourth fiddle down in NO.
So considering how much time both players lost, doesn't it seem ironic that Wiggins is still here, and has been the most productive? Well I guess with that contract he's unmovable.
If Wiggins goes #3 overall, does he still face the same "criticism"?

I wish he would get rid of them. He doesn't even take care of it. Hair like that with as much time on his hands he should have it hooked up like Iverson had his.
Show some pride.
But lazy is what lazy does.

Okafor was in Towns' draft class fwiw....the big in Andrew's class was Embiid.

That feel when besides Embiid, Lavine is probably the best player in that picture. Also how did he get that cover when he was drafted later and kind of a sleeper. Don't remember hype for him around that time.
Also this current draft class is going to be amazing. Way better than that one.

That's practically the whole lottery....only missing Exum and Saric

Maybe #3 would have helped taper expectations and contract amounts and insta playing time maybe at least a little. I'm not sure any of those other teams would have allowed 20 shots to go through him for so many years or steady starts and minutes to this much lack of efficiency so it's difficult to say he would have been any different than those two had another team got him. Health has been his calling card that not everyone offers. However, you could say shying away from contact and not playing with his foot on the gas enough could lead to a healthier run.

I was wondering how LaVine made it too.
He didn't even start in college. Still my favorite of that group.

Because he was a lottery pick, as were the rest of them

Didn't realize those were all lottery guys. Makes sense and is a very easy way to get some future stars on your cover lol. You can't miss on everyone haha!

Yeah, mentioned it earlier I thought. Those were 12 of the 14 lottery picks, only missing international guys Exum and Saric.

He's been christened as "Cliggy" (Clutch Wiggy) in my basketball group-chat....of which I am the only Wolves fan unsurprisingly

Re: Wiggins: "There's not 100 players better than me"
On any given play I can buy that there aren't 100 better players, the challenge is his ability to maintain a high level over full games and throughout the season. The problem is that Wiggins loses focus or takes the easy way out (chucking up long 2s for example) way too frequently. The Heat game was somewhat encouraging in that Wiggins maintained his effort level even when things were going poorly through the first 3 quarters and he was finally able to brake through in the fourth.

He needs to watch tonight's game on a repeating loop. Keep doing THIS. Drive + three = thrive.
I will say this: despite all the ink spilled during the offseason, right now I would not trade Wiggy for D'Lo. They seem really, really over D'Angelo on the Warriors board.... not a great fit next to Curry, I guess.

Russell just got torched defensively by .. wait for it ... DENNIS SCHRÖEDER!
FWIW, GSW’s starting SF is Glenn Robinson III. I bet he isn’t in the “100 players better than Wiggins.”

Are you going to pretend that Wiggins hasn't gotten torched by scrubs before?

Wait. Do you believe that Glen Robinson III is on the “100 players better than Wiggins” list?
Russell’s defense is so bad .. (“how bad is it?”) .. that they put Steph Curry out there to defend the better scoring guard.
