I despise the Kardashians, but that doesn't mean a player can't play well despite being involved with them. I certainly believe being a part of the Kardashian posse isn't helpful to peak basketball performance. I wish they would focus on rappers and leave the NBA and the players out of their spiderweb.

MN gets Oubre/Rubio plus #10 (az), future AZ firsts, #5(Clev), #8 (ny)
Knicks get Ayton/Jmac plus pick #2(gsw). Giving up Robinson, and picks 8,27 and 38
GSW gets Mitchell Robinson/Love and #27(ny). Giving up pick 2 and Wiggins
Cleveland gets Culver/Wiggins+#38(ny)+future Mn 2rp. Giving up pick 5 and Love
Suns get Towns/Dlo/Okogie+33(mn). Giving up #10, Oubre, Rubio, Ayton, future frps

Mn picks at #1, #5, #8, #10, #17 this year to start fresh.

That leaves the team small predraft with:
Rubio
Beasley/(Nowell/Martin)
Oubre/Layman
Juancho/Vanderbuilt
Reid, JJ

How would you rebuild the team with 5 picks this yr.

5 picks in a crap draft who might all be worse than Okogie except for the #1. Doesn't sound like a good idea.

Why except for the #1? Looking at this draft I might claim there is a better chance the #1 pick is a bust and the rest turn out aces. Looking at the players outside the top 3 I think this draft is much better than people are admitting and in the long run we will find that out. But sure, each choice they make could end up a poor one.

I can't get enough of Okogie's heart on the court. But let's not pretend he's prven any kind of consistent skills ability yet. Easily replaceable by someone that can be consistent doing any one thing to rely on. Just like we rely on his effort as his one thing. If teams can find a Herro at pick 13, or the ten other great picks that have come from pick #13, it means there are good players to be found that can make the difference.

BTW, having to start over with Rubio/Beasley/Oubre doesn't sound like a horrible plan to me if they had to.

It's not even that, listen again it's a rumor from an agent (I think he mentioned it's Anthony Edwards agent) who got that rumor from an unnamed player.

Of course the rubes here (not calling you all rubes btw) would instantly overreact and have their chicken little gene kick in (I'd expect nothing less from Foye after all these years).

Basically this.

I've been excited about building a team around Towns, or trading him for a haul, either one for a while now. I just wish they would hurry up and do one of the two. Right now the only players locked in are Dlo/Towns. Can't even get them to commit to a great player like Beasley yet. Blow it all to kingdom come for all I care. Just start doing something. The wasting years of my time jacking around with players not good enough is what bothers me. Move on when you know and get going.

I mean, if you're worried about them wasting years of your time, you're following the wrong team buddy

Which is why I liked that Rosas proved you can flip a roster in such a short period of time. But then they sit here wasting time regarding Beasleys deal. I want to know they have that figured out, that they have locked in a shooter and I'll feel like they are moving forward.

Well, you can only control what you do, and if you let them get to you by not doing what you want on your preferred timeline, this life will be very frustrating for you.

I don’t 100% believe it, but the guys just had 5.5 months off and Our best player is in Cabo?

I’ve always questioned his leadership, but seeing DLo next to Saunders without kat makes kat seem very movable. I’m running out of excuses to the point where I just want to call Kat a loser and move on.

I don't believe they can legally start negotiating anything yet

Why is he a loser though? There's evidence he's been in Minny working out, he took the time off to be with his girlfriend.

This man lost his mom during a pandemic nobody that no one in our lifetime has had to go through (Meaning the quarantine/shutdowns/masks/etc) Everything is slowly opening back up, let the man grieve and do his thing. If he doesn't show up within the next few weeks, then yeah, but there's evidence he has been working on himself/his game.

Not just NBA, they screw anyone with talent up. Kanye was always crazy but his music went downhill
when he got serious with Kim. Theory I heard is that they may be Succubi. Rashad McCants was dating around with a Kardashian before too we know what happened to him.

Gotta say, Dlo really seems to be stepping up in the leadership role. Also big props to Johnson being there. Dude could easily say I'm too old for this **** and not participate but he's there grinding and having a good time. Really love what I have seen from him.

It's a Michael Jordan jersey....maybe he wants to be traded to Charlotte? (my example is no more crazy than yours)

I'd be thrilled if they'd stick to rappers and leave NBA players alone. :D
