Not a bad night for the 19 year old kid. He just keeps getting better.

Man we could have had a three-game win streak if we didn't flop against the Kangs. Utah Jazz have to hate our guts, one of the worst teams in the league keeps beating, they are going to want to demolish us Monday. If we win that game, lol.

If the Wolves miss the playoffs and give the pick to GSW at #4 or #5 it is the worst of both worlds. My contention is that we would be fighting for the #8-10 if KAT stays healthy. That said, he got Covid and that might be unrelated (he may have gotten it either way,) to the wrist injury.

Yes, I know the snark was probably over the top on that one and I'll dial it back.

I just think it's a dangerous territory to try to sell off dynamic offensive pieces in order to get a little better on defense. I think a big thing in this league is being tough to defend. In years past, you really only had one or two options to stop in order to beat us. When that happens, your defense needs to be on point all of the time in order to make up for it.

I also look back at the fact the best defenses this franchise had without Garnett were the Adelman years. It wasn't because we were built around great defenders. In fact, I'd argue the opposite. Our big three were Love/Pekovic/Martin, three negative to maybe average defenders. But they were all plusses on offense. The defenses didn't have just one option to slow down for us. So on the other end of the court, the defense wasn't under a ton of pressure to be perfect on every possession.
