Look at the salaries and ask the question what could the wolves or really any other non playoff team do with all that extra money. We are told to avoid the tax at all costs, they are spending more in tax then we are in payroll.

Durant killed the game. Super teams are all the rage and will be for quite some time. Nets, Lakers, Clippers all following the model.

A big reason they were able to spend that money is the success they were having with Green, Thompson and Curry. The success lead to the ability to spend money as opposed to the money leading to success.

And super teams didn’t start with Durant.

imo our roster construction in the 2017-18 season was pretty terrible...Heat have done a great job in building a roster that compliments Butler's skillset well..Butler is a poor 3 pt shooter but is a pretty good playmaker...our 17-18 team didn't have any good 3 pt shooting guard/wing..iirc Wolves were in the bottom of number of 3 pt attempts that season...spacing was often bad and most of the offensive success was driven by talent of KAT, Butler. Whereas Heat have surrounded Jimmy with lot of good 3 pt shooters that can compliment Jimmy's playmaking well...Duncan Robinson, Herro, Nunn, Dragic all are good 3 pt shooters...Robinson is just crazy good from 3.

Bucks are struggling hard against Miami. I don't know if these guys can win a title.

That Duncan Robinson flop with about 4 minutes left in the 4th was pretty pathetic yet refs called it.

Milwaukee won't win with FT shooting like that.

Mavericks are so fortunate we aren't in the playoffs. We would have locked Doncic up and won by 30 points easily.

Aaron Gordon not looking great, I'm happy we didn't sell big to get him. Jokic scores REALLY easy in the post, he's huge and knows how to use that size, I'm impressed, haven't seen some great post moves like that since Big Al.

Jokic's fadeaway and midrange jumper is also pretty good...his shot motion is ugly but it just works...an amazing offensive talent

Tobias Harris is Bigtime. What a great get by Philly, they really needed him. Butler was great too but that didn't work out. They have made some good targets though.

Haven't paid attention to a Laker game much until today, so did Drummond eat Stanley Robert's? Dude is looking wide.

I've seen Talen Horton Tucker miss 3 layups I'm a row. I thought he's the guy that would be ROY, MIP, and MVP if only he got major minutes with a team like Minnesota?

Lakers seem so behind where they were last season. Maybe they will put it together but man, I don't see it this year.

Knicks series is going to be crazy! 15000 fans, Thibs coming home to be a huge hero. New York finally having something positive happen, and all of those fans are coming off a super suppressed Covid reality, this is going to be one of the first times many have done anything on a big public scale in over a year. It is going to be a madhouse!

Burks with a career game and it wasn't enough. Knicks are a great story but wonder if they have the firepower to beat ATL. Its really been Randle and grit this year. Regardless first round seems like it's going to be a lot more fun than recent years.
